Stomach Pain In Child
Posted: 03-08-07 07:44am

Hello all, my 3 yr old has complained for a while that his "tummy" hurts. At first I thought he had learned a way to get out of doing something but then I began to notice that when asked he would always point to the same spot. It is below the left side of his ribs. He also had a bowel movement 2 days ago that looked like coffee. I am going to watch this but he hasn't gone since then. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be...he hasn't had any falls or anything that could have injured him....I am currently trying to get him an appointment but was just curious.

Take Him to the Doctors.

Im not exactly sure where everything is but I know that it may the gahlbladder or even the splein. The appendix is in the lower part of the stomach. If he is having a lot of problems after he eats certain things it could be the gahlbladder.
He needs to go in to the doctors and they have to do something because it is not normal for him to have that pain for one and for two, not to have a bowl movement if he is eating regular
