I think I might be pregnant but I'm not
sure. I had been sick resently and I'm
starting to think that may be the reason
why. I experienced fatigue, stomach aches
and it was just hard to do anything
physically. My breasts also started
getting larger a month or two ago. Aslo,
in the past few days I started to get
extremely bad acne even though I normally
only get one or two zits when I'm about to
get my period. I've taken pregnancy tests
and they were all negative. I am about a
week late so I took another one and it was
positive. However, I don't know how tht
could be since I haven't had sex since the
last time I took the test. My fiance and I
always use spermacidal condoms as well. I
realize that condoms are only 97%
effective against pregnancy so there's
still a chance but I would just like a
little input.

A positive test means you are pregnant.
.Just because previous tests said you
weren't doesn't mean you weren't pregnant
when you took them. .Your body might not
have built up enought hormone to be
detected in a test untill you took the
positive one.

yep. a positive test definitely means
you're pregnant. call your obgyn &
book an appointment & tell them you
have no idea how far long you would be
& they'll probably do an ultrasound to
tell you how far along you are & about
when you conceived.

as to my understanding a prenancy test can
have false negatives becasue it depends on
the amount of Hcg in your urine at that
time this can depend on when you take the
test as well as the amount of fluids you
drank before taking the test. But its
very unlikely to have a false positive,
as the test had to pick up hcg (Pregnancy
hormone) somewhere.

A positive test means you are pregnant
just because prevous tests say negative it
just means you took them to early to
detect any HCG levels in your urine! It is
true you can have a false positive but it
is rare. You can always take another test
just in case or go see the doctor to put
your mind at rest if that turns out to be
positive then you are definatly pregnant
if it is a negative result then see you
doctor straight away! Good Luck
