I never pictured my life so dreary and
alone. My boyfriend and I had been trying
to conceive for about a year since he was
told that he was unable and now im
pregnant, 9 weeks! Since we found out,
we've done nothing but fight, and now i
feel that we were careless and reckless
and this is one of the biggest mistakes of
my life. I dont think we will work out,
and i don't want my child to grow up in a
broken home. He says i need to try harder,
but there are alot of things i cannot
overlook anymore. I would never consider
aborting, and I keep thinking of all the
hardships and difficulties i will be faced
with once the baby is born being a single
mother. Like custody, bills, mortgage,
caring for the baby, and blah blah... I
dreamed of being a mother my whole life,
but not in this situation. HELP! I've
never felt so messed up in my whole life.

I'm sorry you've found yourself in this
situation. If things don't work out, don't
blame yourself and don't feel sorry for
your child. A child would rather be from a
broken home than live in one.
We have quite a few single mothers on
these boards that can give you some great
tips on supporting yourself and your
child. Two of them live in .canada, as
well.
Just try to stay positive and know that
you can do this. Your child is very lucky
to have you.

I am dreaming every day of having a
beautiful woman and pregnant like you
every day and yet your man he has all he
can dream of you and your baby and he is
not happy I find it hard to understand.
Well if you need a good man I am one of
them even just as a friend.
Not for sex but to just to know what it is
to love something I hope for every day.
I truly hope that you keep the baby and be
at peace with your man and your self. day

hey darling. I'm sorry about your
situation... I'm 32 wks and single, and I
know it's really hard when you picture
things going one way and they just twist
into this frigged up reality.
It will be hard to be single raising a
child... but you have to truly consider
the child. Is he better off with this
guy?
It's very hard and very unnerving but you
can definately do it , it just takes a
little bit of extra planning and support
from those around you.
I hate when you see women completely
miserable, unhappy and so on that stay
with these men just because they are the
father of their child or they don't wanna
go it alone...
You'll be fine no matter what you do but
believe me, I understand the stress!
