Can't Tell If I'm Pregnant Posted: 03-10-07 22:19pm
I'm 21 and I have always had regular
periods lasting 7 days. My last period
which just ended on March 6th was only 4
days long and much lighter. I had sex
after my cycle was finished and we never
use protection. I have been experiencing
tiredness, sleepiness, headaches, a little
back pain and food cravings. I have had
negative tests of pregnancy. I haven't
been vomiting and cant wait 28 days to
find out if I might be pregnant. Is it too
early to be having these types of
symptoms?? Does anyone know what this
might be???

yes, it is too early to be experiencing
pregnancy symptoms. they don't usually
show up until you've missed your period.
sometimes even later. you'll just have to
wait to see if you miss your period to
test.

Could it be that you are ovulating around
now? When I ovulate, I have pretty
extreme nausea, I'm often tired (about
half my cycles I'm exhausted around
ovulation), and I have backaches and
tender breasts. Often, around ovulation,
women have a lot of vaginal discharge that
is very stretchy and resembles uncooked
eggwhites. If you had any of this
recently, it's probably because you were
gearing up to ovulate or have already
ovulated. The eggwhite discharge tends to
dry up right after ovulation.
You need to wait until you expect your
period to test. Some early results tests
may detect pregnancy about 4 days before
you expect your period.
