guys i am so miserable.

i have had the worst sore throat for days.
& .my glands are really swollen.
yesterday, in the shower, my ear started
feeling super weird. & .it just got worse
throughout the day. to the point where my
hearing is really muffled & it feels like there's
something in there & it hurts so bad. it like
aches & throbs & it hurts to swallow, chew,
yawn, open my mouth.. even touch my ear.
i think i definitely have an ear infection.
Crying or Very sad

.chris & i were up super late last night.
we had seriously the best sex that we've
had in a really really long time.

but right afterwards, i did one of those
hiccup-burp things, & it hurt my ear so bad
that i literally just instantly started *bawling*
...it was so bad. i cried for like an hour.
chris gave me .tylenol & had me put a warm
washcloth over my ear & lay down.. but it
didn't help much. we didn't get to bed until 6am.

blah.

my mom is taking me to the ready medic clinic.
because it's .sunday so doctor's aren't open today.
& i really can't wait until tomorrow or .tuesday
to get it checked out. i am in such severe pain.

Crying or Very sad girlie im sorry!! Try taking some aleve... that always helped with my ear aches.. and try putting a *couple* drops of veg oil in your ear. That helps some people. The warm cloth doesnt help me, never has.

you can also ask the doctor to prescribe you some Otocain or americaine. Its an anesthetic and numbs the pain until the antibiotics start working.

feeeel bettttterrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so sorry, .krissy. I'm a baby when it comes to my ears being weird, so I can totally understand how they'd mess you up. Not that you're being a baby, of course - it sounds like you're in a lot of pain!

One of my ears was plugged up once when I was on a plane. When we took off I thought I would die - the pressure was excrutiating. I wouldn't wish that pain on my worst enemy. Well, maybe I would. I'm mean that way. But it was bad.

Let us know how your visit goes! Sad

that sucks. i've been having ear issues lately too but nothing that hurts. i just have this crackling sensation like there's fluid in there but no matter how many q-tips i stick in it doesn't help. luckily it's not painful though, just super annoying.

i hope you get something that helps!

i remember how awesome the sex was for me the more my pregnancy progressed. it seriously just kept getting better and better when i thought it was all maxed out. i also think post-pregnancy sex is *way* better than pre-pregnancy.

i'm hooome.

i definitely have an infection.
he said my ear is super swollen inside
& i have fluid behind my ear drum.
Crying or Very sad

.but he prescribed me some eardrops
to put in twice a day.
they're antibiodic/painkiller eardrops.

so hopefully they'll start working real quick.

we my mom & i went to fill my prescription,
we had to wait a few minutes, so we were
walking around the grocery store & omggggg
i was in so much pain from .gabe!
sharp pressure immobilizing pains.
i seriously felt like he was going to fall out
of me right then & there! i had to stop
dead in my tracks a few times.
i don't know if he was moving weird or what.

Girl, I'm so sorry you're having all of these sinus problems *right* before labor!

I'm sure it'll have an affect on it. Crying or Very sad

The ear candles are cool. You put a plate around it to catch any falling ambers. It's totally safe.

I had to do a couple to some clients! People swear by it.

But I'll settle with the Dr. flushing them out. Neutral

Aww .krissy! Do you only have an ear infection, or do you have a sinus infection too?

I really hope it clears up by the time you go into labor! Give your mommy a chance to heal a bit, .gabe!

for ear problems put a big handful of salt in the middle of a wash cloth - then fold it up into a package so the salt can't fall out.

heat it carefully in the microwave (give it a poke every 30 secs to see if it is hot enough) - be careful - hot salt .B.U.R.N.S - you want it like a hot bath temp - hot but not scalding.

then hold the washcloth containing the salt over your ear.

you could put it on top of a radiator or something else hot to either stop it from going cold or to heat it more slowly.
