That's a hard one...

Baron is insisting that I do. But I refuse.

I don't want to ever not be able to hold my child again though.

I'm soooo "au natural" that I don't even want to be in a hospital next time.

I want to do it at home, with *no* medical intervention. I had oxygen with .oni and was actually upset about it. I told them I didn't want anything. But settled.

I don't know .bridget...that's something I've been thinking about since I had .oni!! lol!

I know I didn't get a gold star for going drug free, but it's something that I can tell myself I'm capable of, when I'm feeling weak and down.

i didn't get to hold finn for the first hour after he was born. i can't imagine having to go all night, especially since i just held him and stared at him all night!

I was hard! And then to not feel her moving around in there! It was bad. I cried....a lot...

SO they came in and gave me some serious meds and I ate and passed out.

I got woken up by the vampires alll night long. FOr blood and to change antibiotic bags. it sucked.

Then the next mornin I was on the phone with the nursery arguing to get mym baby because the nursery "doesn't open till 9am."
You've got to be joking me!!!

They brought me my child at 7.30am....

I never want to feel like that again. But who's to say I'll get an infection next time?

They prob lied and told me that just to stick me! lol!

We'll see how it goes next time. I highly doubt I'll get one, but ya never know! I might need a section ::knocks on wood:: next time!

chew ice chip and drink cool water or kool aid/gatorade whatever you please during labor.

many doctors don't like it but you are better off if you sip fluids and even have small healthy snacks (depending on length of labour) during your labour.

anything really to stop you getting dehydrated.

what?! that's so ridiculous!

at my hospital i could send him to the nursery in the middle of the night or get him back. he was in our room for the most part but there were a few times i had to send him to the nursery so i could sleep, then nick would go get him whenever i asked, 3am, 5am, whenever.

I walked in with a gallon of water. And didn't have much time do eat any chips. SHe was out in under 3 hours. Being 5cm walking in, it *flew* by!

I went in the shower and was drinking the water as it hit me.

I had lost a lot of blood. And had a fever of 103 and climbing.

I got to see .oni for about 2 mins before they whisked her off for her breathing. That's when they told me the news, as they were taking her away.
"you won't be able to see her till this fever/infection goes down. If you don't get an iv, that could take days.".....so......I got the .i.v.

Next time, reguardless of how much pain i'm in, I'll keep drinking!! I think it would have helped tremendously!

hahaha is it wrong that this countdown is exciting?

It's just that Krissy seems to have been pregnant since forever.

I remember Michie trying to get pregnant - I swear Krissy was already preggy by then lol
And Sandy - I swear you were preggy before Sandy too lmao

It just seems like you've been preggy for like a year or more lol

lmao, it's probably because i was pregnant for like 6 or 7wks or whaver & then had a miscarriage & then was preggo again *right* away. so it does seem like a lot longer!
