Am I Worrying Over Nothing?
Posted: 03-13-07 08:40am

First of all i have had PCOS for 5 years and havent had no problems until last october time, before then i was lucky to have a period once a year, but since october things changed, i started to bleed after having sex, and having some discomfort in the lower abdomen afterwards, even with not to deep penetration,i saw my GP and she did a smear test which came back clear, and told me to return if nothing changes, well as i'm not normally one to like to go and see my GP unless i think it's needed, i left it and left it, until almost 2 months ago, where i went from having yearly periods, i was bleeding a lot after sex, but this month i have bled 3 times and the 3rd time wasnt even after sex, and now it hasn't stopped, i am very heavy, with rather big clots sometimes, im very nauseous, tired, bloated, lots of gas too, my back and lower abdomen hurt, but sometimes not a lot to require painkillers, well i saw my GP last thursday and i had to have a blood test, it was called CA 125 or something, not really sure what it means, well she told me the results would take 2-3 days, well i received a letter on the saturay morning , just simply stating i had an urgent appointment with her this coming thursday, as you can imagine i have been very worried since. Am i worrying over nothing? Sorry for writing so much, i just want some advice on what she may tell me thursday and what will propbably happen next.

Thanks in advance
Worried.
