Second Ultrasound Posted: 03-14-07 19:15pm
Hi girls!
Everything went well with my second
ultrasound today. My belly was sore tho
from my accident the other day, so it was
rough laying there with her doing it.
Anyways, my measurements are right on at
22 weeks and 5 days. Still due on July
13th. The tech said that we are going to
have a very long baby, as the baby's legs
are measuring very long already. I figured
as much since daddy is 6 ft 5" tall. The
baby is weighing at 1 lb 3 oz now, which
she said is perfect. We got to watch the
heart beating and it was pretty neat to
see that so vivid. The last ultrasound we
couldn't as the baby would not cooperate
long enough. Today the baby was very
active again, so thats a good thing. I
have a little soccer player!
They are still going to send me for a
.Fetal .Echo at 28 weeks, not because they
see any problems, but because of my
sisters children who both have heart
conditions due to my sister alcohol abuse.
I am not concerned either, but would
rather be safe than sorry.
Hope that everyone is well!
Mary

Hi Vanessa,
I thought it was interesting too that our
due dates were pretty much the same. I
was surprised that our baby isn't a porker
lol cause I know that I am! Oh well I am
just happy to know that evedrything is
going well. We waited a long time for this
baby, as we didn't think that we could get
pregnant and then surprise! Everything
happens when it is supposed too.
Thanks about my tummy. I have pulled
muscles there that are healing slowly from
the accident. I go see my OB today because
my back etc is still killing me and I am
hoping that she can send me for massage or
something, since there isn't too much else
that they can do for me while being
pregnant. But they need to do something!!
We hope to find out soon what we are
having. I have to have a Fetal Echo done
and more ultrasounds which will be done in
the High Risk department and the ladies up
there have no problems telling you what
you are having Or.. I could get
the 3D ultrasound done. Not too sure about
that yet as I have been hearing
conflicting stuff from doctors about that.
Anyways, we will have to keep in touch in
here about our development and see who
pops first!!
