ya know i was really scared when i
encountered this same suitation. i met a
really awesome guy . The type thats too
good to be true and well i knew i would
have to let him know about my virius
sooner or later,or i could not,but then
they would be like me. so i took things
really slowly. we got to know each other
really well. i came totally clean and
upfront. it scraed him a lil at first, but
he was glad i had the guts to tell him and
be truthful. he cared alot about me and i
felt the same. we are happly still to
gather and just to be safe he got on

.i told my boyfriend relatively early on.
.i do not have genital herpes, but .i do
have the oral virus which can be
transfered to the genitals. .he was quite
willing to take the risk and any man who
cares for you will as well. .he also
knows that .i have had it for as long as
.i can remember and he is the first man .i
have been with.

Question About Herpes

i got a reply from someone on this sight
and the response was wait till you go to
the gyno and see what happens and to relax
which is very hard to do--i cant sleep
cause im so nervous so if theres anyone
who can give me a little insight i would
appreciate it
------------------------------------------

Ok this is a long one...
Last sexual encounter was march 17th of
this year...As far as I know the guy is
clean but it wasnt a boyfriend kind of
just a one night thing..Used a condom and
didnt (not responsible at all I know)
about 6 weeks ago I wiped after going to
the bathroom and felt a slight
sting...Looked with a hand mirror and
didnt see anything but there was a small
cut (tiny) near the opening of the
vagina--no raised skin/blister/bumps and I
put some neosporin on it---next day it was
gone
approx once a week/every 6 days maybe it
happens since then...I was on antibiotic
(strong ones) for my roseacea on my face
for 21 days...The last day was may 3rd
(the day I felt the stinging) and I was
itchy down there....Read that the
antibiotic causes severe yeast infections
in women and could also cause irritation
in that area...I am very prone to yeast
infection/bacterial infections....But I
have been exercizing reg, eating alot of
yogurt with live active cultures and
taking acidophillus regularly... Was not
allowed to take the acidoph while I was
one the antibiotics and was not getting
any yeast infections before the medicine
for quite some time...I am going to the
gyno next week but I really need to know
your opinion...Everything ive read so far
doesnt add up to herpes but I have never
gotten a paper cut-like/tear in the
perineal area (its by the opening to the
vagina kind of bet the bottom and the
vagina)--ive been down there with the hand
mirror prob a hundred times and I know for
sure there are no lesions, bumps, sores,
blisters...These outbreaks im reading
about dont seem to be similar and I feel
like this area of the skin down there is
severly irritated and tears as a
result---but I know I could be wrong...I
am seroiusly not sleeping b/c of this
sorry for the long email but im trying to
be as clear as poss--im so scared

Natural Treatments

There is a vitamin called Lysine that you
can take. Lysine is a chemical found in
food that helps fight Herpes outbreaks.
It also promotes healthy skin and lips.
It is a natural chemical that you get from
food. There are certain types of food
that carry this vitamin, but I am not sure
what they are. You can go online to learn
more about it.
But its just like a daily vitamin. There
are no side effects, at least for me. I
found that it is so much better to take
than valtrex or acyclovir. If you use
Lysine daily you can help prevent
outbreaks. This does not mean it will help
you not pass it on though.
I suggest you keep a perscription of
valtrex or acyclovir handy at all times.
This vitamin is good to keep your body's
defenses up but it will not take away a
sore as fast as valtrex or acyclovir will.
I take Lysine everyday and when I feel an
outbreak I start taking my acyclovir.
Most times the sore never comes or its
very minor and only lasts a few days. I
tryed taking Acyclovir once a day but it
had bad side effects. Natural is always
better. Hope this helps....
Herpes attacks when your immune system is
weak and cant fight it off. Lysine will
help keep your immune system strong.

Most of what
I have heard so far is from the drug
companies and they just want to pump us
full of meds... I did fill a script for
Valtrex the other day though...Thankyou
for the tip about Lysine, I'll pick some
up the next time I go to the health food
store...BTW, I heard that Neem plant
extract is good for herpes too.
