I'm Sure I Am Just Paranoid But Please Help...
Posted: 03-15-07 11:29am

I just found out I am pregnant (confirmed with blood test), I am at 4 to 5 weeks along. The thing that first keyed me off that I was pregnant was that my breasts were sore. However they are no longer sore. They were only sore for a few days, I have read that losing pregnancy symptoms can be a bad sign. Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone know anything about this? Is it normal?

Thanks

losing all symptoms is a bad sign..losing that symptom alone is not.

it happened to me.

My breast did the same thing. They only hurt for the 1st couple of weeks.

I would squeeze my nipples to see if they were still sore and if they weren't I'd freak.

But, it happens. If you're still concerned, ask your Dr.!

you're not very far along, i wouldn't worry about losing one symptom and it could always come back.

give it a couple weeks, i bet you'll have all kinds of new symptoms.

Your paranoia is normal. It is very scary when you lose a pregnancy symptom like sore breasts. That happened to me for about a week early on during this pregnancy but they came back - with vengence!! Every case is different. Emma was right. Did you lose any other symptoms???

I am so sorry you have to go through this stress of not knowing. If you were a little farther a long perhaps you would be able to go to the doctors to find out if everything was alright. Take care of yourself. Don't take this the wrong way, but I really hope your breasts start hurting again to help you through this "not knowing" part. I was actually happy when mine started to hurt again. I felt like I could breathe again.

Well, this was the only symptom other than some slight nausea but I think the nausea was more due to nerves than to hormones. I actually ran out and got another pregnancy test because I was being so paranoid and it still says "pregnant" so I will just try to relax a little. I made the mistake of googling miscarraige symptoms and now I am as paranoid as can be. I hate this I can't wait till I get to hear a heart beat and know everthing is going fine.

Thanks

The worst thing you can do is google something related to prenancy. It's either "normal" or "signs of a miscarriage". I mean, you could have gas on the right side of your abdomen and the site will tell you to go to the .e.r.

It's a no no in pregnancy! lol..I think we've all done it, and all learned our lesson Shocked

I wasn't nausioius at *all*!! The only symptom I had was sore breasts. So when it went away, I flipped!

But I'm sure all is well. What you're experiencing is *totally* normal!
But try not to stress, it's not good for the baba!!

Ha, you girls are great!!!!

My boobs started hurting again half way through the day. I am no longer going to look up pregnancy crap on the internet. Seriously I am already a bit on the anxious side and with all these hormones going through my body it is only worse.

Seriously thanks ladies, all your replies have made be feel a lot better and I got a lot of laughs too! The whole idea of squeezing your nipples to make sure they are still sore is so funny because I kept poking myself in the boobs trying to feel some soreness. Ha, I think I am going to start some yoga or something!

Feel free to stick around. We're a pretty neat group. 95% of us have been pregnant before, some more than once. So we have lots of experience and advice to share. Wink
