Mini Rant & Question.

i am incredibly annoyed & pissed off.
my sister, .kayla, is so dumb. she decided
to go on a road trip this weekend. 3 or 4
hours away. she's been complaining &
bugging me all week.. ".kristina
seriously, i will be so mad if you go into
labor before i get home." & .she won't
shutup about it. i'm like, ".kayles,
you've known for 9 months that my due is
.march 19th. it is not my fault you
decided to go out of town until the day i
am due. i have no control over the
situation & it isn't my fault if i go
into labor while you're gone." & .she
just keeps throwing a fit & blah blah
blah. well, she left earlier today &
she just called & told me she forgot
her phone charger & she only has 2
bars of battery left. what. fool. so now
she said she has to call back later so my
mom can write down like 4 different random
people's phone numbers in case i go into
labor.. & .i'm really sad because she
brought her camera with her & if i go
into labor this weekend, that means we
might not get to take pictures with a
digital cam, 'cause no one else has one
that works.. .i
know .i'm probably going to seem selfish
or something for ranting about it. but
it's just so frustrating & .i'm just
afraid that .i'm going to have him this
weekend & she isn't going to make it
back. ugh.
& i am so beyond sick of people asking
me ".what, no baby yet?" ".what's taking
so long? aren't you due on .monday?" ".you
should have him *this* day!" ".monday
doesn't work for me, you should have him
on .wednesday."
.it's so annoying.
i just want everyone to leave me alone
about it.
*deep breath*
.okay. i'm alright, lmao.
now for my question.
i know it's different for everyone, but
did any of you guys have really mild
contractions in the beginning of labor? i
swear .i've been having some, but .i'm not
for sure. i've been really uncomfortable
& crampy all day, & every so often
(not anything persistant yet) it gets
really hard/painful to move or walk good
& my belly gets hard & my back
gets a radiating pain.. but it's not
anything intense & .i'm not sure if
it's contractions or just him moving
weird?

My stepmother did that to me. She told me
to try to have the baby on the weekend,
because it was more convenient for her and
my father to get away from work and come
to see us in the hospital.
my entire first day of labor (induced,
even!) was mild to moderate cramping. I
watched tv the whole time. I didn't cry,
didn't yell out, was only mildly
uncomfortable.
I tried to find my labor story and
couldn't. I'm kind of irritated about
that. My entire first day of labor was
just like what you're describing.
Your sister officially sucks. Do you or
.chris have any friends living nearby that
could lend you a digi cam for a few days?
You have to have one.

my sister has one (that we'd have to find)
that isn't broken.. i think it *might*
still take pictures, but i have no idea.
none of the buttons work.. so i don't
know. & .chris has one, too. but the
focus is really really messed up, & i
don't know. i think we should be fine. i
really hope so. my mom has a regular film
camera..

I still think you should hit up one of
your good friends and borrow their camera
for a few days, just to be sure you have a
functioning one on hand in case! Because
it sounds like things might just be
happening in there...
*puts an ear up to your tummy....*
if you go into labor tonight, .i'll dance.
It'll mean I was partly right! (but only
partly... boo...)
when do you see the doc again, babe?

I do what .I can, .Laura!
And .krissy, .i wish you'd said something
sooner! I would totally have sent you my
old digi cam! It's perfectly good, .I just
got a smaller one because this one didn't
fit in my purse.
.I know there's not a snowball's chance in
hell it could get there before .Gabe, but
if you're interested .p.m me!

hun that so sucks... your sister is being
very rude to you! as for the digi cam
part.. i know that walmart sells decent
camera for about 100 dollars.. the
megapixels are at least 4.0 or higher with
a 3x zoom.. there made by nikon which is a
good brand.. i had bought one four years
ago that was a two megapixel and it still
takes amazing shots. i wish you the best
of luck.. i wonder if youll go into labor
tonight.. i went into labor that night
after i lost my mucus plug and that was 32
hours after my doc striped my membranes...
well good luck keep us posted.. can wait
for gabe

wow..yea the hospital said that if they
last a least 60 or more secs then the
contractions arent just warm up ones..
they are the begining of labor! Im hoping
that is what you are experianceing... i
hope chris or someone is home right now..
those contractions will definately
intensify and you will need someone to
take down the time and the length.. shoot
i couldnt.. i wanted scream through every
one and to have back labor too o man.. i
wanted to squeeze my hubby while he was
timing..loll.. anyhow i wish you luck..
keep it posted.. im going to go to sleep..
the baby will have me up in an hour im
sure and im exhausted.. lol you will soon
be on a similar scheduale...lol cant wait!
u sound like tomorrow he'll be arriving

that sounds to me like you might be able
to make it through the night.. but they
may come fast and hit you all at once..
Right now they seem to be warming your
body up.. the real thing will be happening
soon i think.. then again everyone is
different and you body will react
differently too! you did loose your mucus
plug like i did right after your doc stuck
her fingers up there!! anyhow i went into
labor 32 hours after my doc and 16 after
my mucus.. i think your well on your way..
keep your support... im sure betting gabe
will make his arrival sometime tomorrow..
hopefully your labor isnt to long and that
you dont have any complication,... i wish
you and your son the best delivery
every!!! dust to ya

thanks .megg!!!
i've been having soooooooo much mucous the
past 2 or 3 days, it's been ridiculous.
like just gobs & gobs of goo. some of
it has been streaked with blood, too.
so .i'm thinking .i'm extremely close.
i'll keep timing them & try to sleep
in a little bit!

hun they look like every ten minutes...
that is about 6 an hour.. you should let
your hospital or doc know just to give
them a heads up that you lost your mucus
plug and that your are contracting for
about 30 sec every ten minutes... i think
labor has started for you.. you might be
able to stay home a little longer and
sleep a little but im betting this is it.
def let someone know though

tummy the quick before and after.. i wish
you the best hun... ttys. just take it
