Hey,
When I was 5 years old a tumor was found
in my left lung and the doctors put off
treatment for so long that the whole lung
had to be removed. I have been living a
perfectly normal life like this for a long
time now however and know very little
about my condition. I can handle all the
facts... I know I'll never be able to out
run the average person and I know I'll
never Be the greatest athlete... this is
fine.
My question is.... What would the
negative effects of me smoking marijuana
on ocassion be, and would the effects be
serious. I only need factualy answers to
this question. I am already quite aware
that i shouldn't be smoking in the first
place I would just like to be informed.
If anyone has any solid information to
answer this question your input would be
highly appreciated.
I would like to add that I hope you
can keep your answers as unbiased by your
personal beleifs as possible. All I need
is the facts.

Hi
Sorry this is not an answer to your
question but I just had my pneumonectomy
(well, Nov 2006) and I don't know anybody
else who went trough this and wanted to
ask you how long your operation was ago
and how you're feeling. Are you still
short of breath? Is your side/skin still
numb? How is your activity level? Do you
still get tired fast?
Thank you

i had the operation 10 years ago and im
pretty normal. I do have shortness of
breath but it is recent and it has a lot
to do with anxiety problems that I have.
It is hard for me to say if I feel any
different than I did with two- lungs
because i dont even remember what its like
to have two lungs. But I am pretty sure
that you should be fine and be able to
live normally. Yes I do get tired faster
but not to the extent where it noticeably
affects me in my every-day life
