Recently I have been getting palpitation
like symptoms or tremors/fluttering
inside, tingling in hands and feet, pain
in my calf, ringing in my ears, tingling
in my tongue and my arms feel heavy. I
have on a few occasions had pain over my
shoulders like a pulled muscle and blurry
vision.

The symptoms that you describe
(“palpitation like symptoms or
tremors/fluttering inside, tingling in
hands and feet, pain in the calf, ringing
in the ears, tingling in the tongue, arms
feel heavy, pain over my shoulders and
blurry vision”) could be due to
premature menopause but you'll first have
exclude heart disorders, high blood
pressure and thyroid disorders as possible
causes of the condition. Hormone
replacement therapy (HRT) with low doses
of estrogen can often relieve such
symptoms when they are caused by menopause
(climacterium) but the hormones won’t
help if you are experiencing something
else. You can request an ECG examination
together with blood pressure measurements
and some blood tests in order to diagnose
the condition.
