well for me

i went in, filled out a crap ton of paperwork, peed in a cup, got drained of blood, had my blood pressure taken, nurse said you know what...your pregnant....i said really i thought i was just here because it was fun lol, went to a room, waited in room for like 30 minutes, doc came in did an exam, did a pap smear, had a talk with the doc about what to do now, got a goody bag and went home

that was so long ago, damn...good luck....

oh if you have any questions write them down and bring them with you, if your anything like me youll forget everything once you get called to get seen lol

Your doc will do a routine pap smear and check for any std's. I also had an ultrasound done. All she was checking for there was to make sure he was on target with my last period and expected due date.

They will probably talk about things you shouldn't eat and things you should eat. He/she may prescribe prenatal vitamins if they think you need something better than what you are taking.

They'll take blood for sure and you'll probably have to pee in a cup every time you go so they can check your sugar and proteins.

It will be fun, so enjoy it

they just wanted to see how far i was and everything

Yup. I had to fill out paperwork for over half an hour. Then I had to pee in a special cup.

That cup was so stupid. It had all sorts of bells and whistles. You had to wipe your bits down in one direction with a wipe, and another direction with another wipe, then put this part into this part, remove this, pee a little, catch the pee mid-stream, then put this cap on the cup, remove this part.... ugh. It was dumb.

They gave me a pap smear. They took like 6 or 7 vials of blood. My ultrasound was done at the hospital, so they scheduled an appointment for me before they sent me on my way. I think it was a couple of days later.

I blocked getting weighed out. That happens every time. Sucks

oh yeah, ha, see forgetful, that was right before they played with my pee lol

i dont mind it so much, dont like it but ive come to terms with the fact that i never will, its inevitable, and so long as im realistic about it then im not too upset/disappointed lol
