Baby Monitor

I'm just wondering if everybody got one or
not. I've only got a few more things to
get, apart from outfits which i'm leaving
for a bit due to her size, and wondering
if everybody got one if they were sharing
a room with their baby.
Thank you
Danni x

Thank you! I'm kinda 50/50 about getting
one at the moment. My sisters says to get
one b/c when her son was a few months old
he stopped breathing in the night so the
monitor's alarm went off and it was the
only way she would have known, but my mum
says you may aswell wait until you move
out because she's going to be a metre away
from you.

I use my baby monitor when I put .Jenny
down earlier than when I go to bed.. It
comes in handy because sometimes she
doesn't settle and I need to go put her
dummy back in or she won't sleep. They're
handy things to have, even if you don't
use it very often.

Depends on if you mean one of the
monistors that goes off if the baby's
breathing stops/movement stops or just a
plain old monitor to listen in with. The
former are, apparently, more worry that
they're worth whereas I wouldn't be
without my sound monitor! It's great for
if your baby is napping in the bedroom and
you want to go to a different room for a
while.

kinda cute.

we don't have a movement monitor but we do
have the sound monitor. it's really just
our phones but it works the same as a baby
monitor. we don't need them now because
he's just across the hall (or down the
hall depending on where i am) and i can
hear him, but in the summer we'll have to
close the bedroom doors because of the air
conditioners so we'll need to use the
monitors then.

i only live in a small crappy appartment
so the only time i reallly need the
moniter is when i have the tv on loud when
reese is in his crib at bedtime.. so it
all really depends on if ur going to be
far from ur baby, or if its loud in your
house

we have a pretty small 2 bedroom house
that you can hear everything in, including
my neighbours having sex
I'm going to leave it to last then see if
i think it will be worth it i think.

we have one.. i used it at first when i
left the room when the kids or just .caty
was sleeping so i'd hear them wake up..
now i pretty much either know their
schedule or their out in the .l.r with me
so i dont need to...
once they have their own room i'll start
using it again incase they wake up in the
middle of the night.

We have baby monitors & I used them
all the time when .Kaylee was real little
mainly because .I'm just a paranoid freak
lol.. But now the only time I use them is
if she's taking a nap & .I'm outside
doing something.

I loved my baby monitor. When my daughter
napped I could relax knowing I could hear
her every move.
I plan to use one this time around, as my
house is a lot bigger.
Warning: sometimes I could hear people's
telephone conversations on it. That
wasn't always cool.
