18 with serious back problems

Hello I need help I am 18 years old and I have problems with my back.

I wish I could go to the doctor but I am scared. It all started 2 years ago when I fell out of a tree 25 to 30 feet up and landed on my back. I was fine when I got up and everything its just when I hit the ground my breath tasted like I chewed on a aluminum can. Well recently when I bend over my back locks and I have to lay down wherever I am and try to unlock it. I try to ride my snowmobile but every little bump sends a sharp tingel up my back and it hurts really bad and I get the aluminum can taste. I think something is really wrong but when I talk to my parents my father calls me a vagina and everything else he will never believe that someone young as myself can have pain. I dont know what to do. Also recently my neck has been burning like someone put icy hot on it but its centraled in the middle I dont understand no one else talks about this anywhere could I have some desiease or just serious back problems. I have been getting used to it because its been going on for so long. But since it has gotten cold where I live it has gotten alot worse. Could somepne please help me and tell me what to do and if it is serious or if I really need to go to the doctor. Thank you

I know what you are talking about. I am 19. Now I dont get the taste in my mouth but my back hurts a lot. When I was 16 I hurt my back lifting up a cooler from a trunk and now I have to be careful when I pick things up, bend down, where I sit (the floor kills me or hard chairs), or how long I stand up. My back locks too and I cant even move until it loosens up. It really sucks. Have you ever tried putting ice packs where it hurts. Where is your pain? Mine is always in my low back and it is usually in the middle or right side. I have been to 3 chiropractor since and the one I am going to now is helping me a lot. If I was you I would go to a chiropractor and get an x-ray because something could be really wrong. I also have neck troubles but I have had that almost all my life and the chiropractor helps with that too. Dont be scared, chiropractors and/or doctors are there to help you not hurt you worse. Everyone thinks I am a vagina too. No one else can tell if something hurts or if something is wrong so like I said before go and get help asap.

I am sorry your father isnt listening to you, but falling out of a tree 25 to 30 feet would cause some damage, if all your symptoms came after your fall and your still experiencing them its definately from your fall and not a disease, I would definately seek help from a doctor, I dont understand why you waited 2 years, having a back injury is something serious and can cause so many problems, I have a back injury and alot of nerve damage, that has caused me many medical problems, things you never would think would be because of a back problem, if your dad wont listen to you I hope you have someone else you can talk to that will take you seriously and help you, but what ever you do dont let it go before it ends up to late and you cant walk, good luck and I hope you get the help you need
