Q: Pray For Me!

Guys, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I started spotting/bleeding today. I am so freaking nervous. I don't want to miscarry. My mom spotted with both me and my little brother and my great grandmother had pretty much had period bleeding for the whole 9 months. Just please keep me in your thoughts. I already called my doctor and he said to let him know if anything changes. I am only four weeks along so he said it would be too early to do an ultrasound.

Put your feet up and try to relax. If something is happening, there's nothing that can be done. I know it's hard, but try not to worry and keep your thoughts as positive as you can manage. Your body may follow.

Quite a few of the girls here spotted and bled through their pregnancies and went on to deliver healthy babies.

We're here for you, hon. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Hi,

Try not to worry about the bleeding unless it is accompanied with cramping. As you know from your family history (mom, grandma), it can be completly normal. Try to take it easy and not stress too much (I know it's easier said than done).

Good luck,

Christina

Well, there is cramping too. That's along with bleeding is why I am worried. I know there is nothing that can be done. We just really want this baby. Everything happens for a reason so I will get through with help from many different sources-God, my dh, family, you guys. I will be ok, I'm just really scared right now. I am still kinda nauseous. Hopefully, that's a good sign.

I miscarried about a year ago and truthfully I had the same symptoms (it started out with pink spotting and then the next day I had slight cramping). I however did not have any nausia, so this might be a good sign for you. I'm not trying to imply that you are miscarrying, this is just from my own experience. Needless to say I ended up getting pregnant 2 weeks later (my Dr. was not too happy) and now I have a 4 month old little boy.

I really hope that all turns out o.k. with the pregnancy. I'll be praying for you.

If you need to talk, you can PM me. Try to stay strong and elevate your feet as much as possible. It might help some.

Christina

Pray For Me
I will certainly pray for you, but know that if this does not turn out as you ask in prayer, that it is nature's way of ending a pregnancy that may result in a baby with very serious defects. Leave this entirely in God's hands as He knows what He is doing. My daughter miscarried and a year later she had Matthew and said she would not have had Matthew if she had not miscarried. Do not have an ultrasound as a miscarriage resulted a day after an ultrasound in this same daughter's second miscarriage. If you read the Bible, read Romans 8. All things work out for good for those who love the Lord, according to His purpose. I have had 7 children, and I certainly learned that my only answer to survival was prayer, and the power of prayer. God loves you and so do we. God bless.

Thanks for all your thoughts guys! Most of my cramping is gone and my spotting is minimal. I just kinda ate dinner and with the last bite I took I about vomited on the spot. I have never been so happy to feel sick in my life. I know it doesn't necessarily mean that all is well but it makes me feel like it is.

Well, the bleeding is a little worse today, almost like my regular period would be. I took a First Response test this morning. There is still a line but it is light. I have nothing to really compare that to though because I got both my positives on EPT so I don't have a baseline for the FRER. I am going to see my doctor for a beta hcg today at 1 pm. I am just so scared. I am pretty sure that it is gonna go down in two days. I really hope not but I am trying to be realisitic. Think about me today.

Hi MG:

I had the same problems when I first became pregnant. I had spotting off and on up until 8 weeks. Nothing major.. but cramping and the odd spotting. I am now 23 wks pregnant and feeling fine.

You are in my prayers and my thoughts.

Mary

I AM PRAYING FOR YOU. WHEN I WAS PREGNANT I BLED FEW TIMES TOO. I HAD A HEALTHY BABY. BLEEDING DOESN'T ALWAYS MEAN SOMETHING DANGEROUS. WHEN NATURAL FAILS, SUPERNATURAL OPERATES IN POWER. JESUS CAN/WILL HEAL YOU. I AM PRAYING.

My family and I will keep you and yours in our prayers. I am sorry that I can not offer any comforting words, as I don't believe anything you hear now will be comforting aside from your doctor giving you the aok. However, as many of the ladies have already told you, many woman have spotting early and go on to have a healthy pregnancy. Keep thinking positive.

Thanks guys! I keep hoping and praying that everything will be ok. I haven't passed any clots so I am hoping that is a good sign. I just want my little one to be ok. No one wants this baby more than me and my husband. I am still having some on and off nausea today. I just hope that this is going to be like my mom and great grandma. I will keep you guys updated later today.
