So, my husband and I went to the doctor
last friday and had another sonogram done.
I was 13 weeks prego. at the time and the
baby had grown SOOO much since the 1st
sonogram. The doctor was able to get a
look in between the babies legs. Of
course I had no idea what I was lookig at
really, but at the end of the apt. the
doctor said that if she had to say now she
would predict a girl. She said she saw
something that made her think it was a
girl!! Of course IM WAS VERY EXCITED to
hear that. But, she also said not to get
our hopes up it was still early. So, does
anyone think that its possible to see at
13 weeks what we might be having??? Hope
to hear some feedback!

the genitals don't even form until 12
weeks (i think), so at 13 weeks they'd
barely be there. personally, i wouldn't
trust anything before 18 weeks.
will you get another ultrasound around
18-22 weeks?

yes....ill be going around may 4th for
another ultrasound and thats when i find
out what im having. But, by then ill be
about 22-23 weeks prego. It just seems so
far away! its horrible the waiting. I wish
there were just others accurate ways to
find out sooner what youre having.

I agree with .B.. I wouldn't trust that
they could see much that early! I didn't
find out until 3 days before I had her,
that I was having a girl She
was bashful I guess It is horrible
waiting but just think how much more
excited you'll be! I'd hate for them to
tell me I was having a girl that early on,
get my hopes all up then a couple months
later they see that they were wrong!

the waiting does suck. I'm 25 wks and
still don't know. hopefully on april 30th
, I'll be 31 wks I think they can tell me!
I definately agree with the other ladies,
although i'm not a mother yet it would be
so silly to think your having a girl that
early on , it could so easily be a lil boy
but he's too small to show his bits! you
never know!
