Dull Burning Pain In Between Shoulder Blades Posted: 03-18-07 23:43pm
My Husband is cuurently 25yrs old and was
diagnosed with Type 1 Diabeties approx. 2
1/2 years ago, he started insulin about a
month later. When he was diagnosed his
sugar levals were 550 and above-once his
sugars began to get regulated his upper
back began to have this dull burning pain
in between his shoulder blades. It is very
painfull, he has been taking 6-7 10/325
Percet, Morphin and Lyrica daily plus B6,
B12, B2 and several other vitamins in an
attemempt to get some relief. He has had
Mri's, ct milograms, nerve studys,
epidural of the 5th and 6th vertabre's,
x-rays, sset's done and the most anyone
can say is that there in a small amount of
arthritis! He has been to two
chiropractors, two pain managment doctors,
physical therapy 3-4times a week for
approx. 4-5 months, two back spec. and a
neurological doctor. I don't understand
how no one has any clue as to what is
wrong with my husband!!! Please if you
have ANY suggestions let us know, I don't
know what else to do for him!
I wish i could help you out but im really
stumped. not to sure what other tests are
left to run. It could be many different
things too but i dont think arthritis
would cause that .
