My poor baby, all she's been doing all
morning is sneezing & she's all
sniffly. I feel like I keep having to
attack her with the booger sucker &
it's so frustrating trying to get ahold of
the doctor. I called to see if there is
anything I can give her & the doc is
in a different office across town, so she
transfers me over there.. Then I get stuck
on hold forever & then all I hear is a
"click" & they apparently hung up on
me. Ugh. So in the meantime .I'm putting
some vicks babyrub on her chest & back
& sucking all her boogers out .Shane
is getting out of work here soon anyways
& we have to go to the garage where we
got my car to pick up some papers so .I'm
just gonna stop in the doctors office
quick on our way
I know I have to wait to talk to her
doctor to see if I can give her anything
but what do you guys give your babies? If
anything. She's 5 1/2 months old &
about 18lbs give or take.
I hate it when she's not feeling good

i don't know if you have it where you are
but we have tixylix cough and cold
medicine which 'soothes coughs, clears
congestion and relieves runny noses'
i used it on layla and it works great!
edited to add: sorry i just realised it's
only for 1 years +

.That's okay
.Hopefully her doctor gets back to me
soon, I just called again & left a
message. I know they have (I .T.H.I.N.K)
it's dimetapp for infants? Not sure if
.I'm thinking of the right name but..
Maybe .I'll look into that.

shes under 6 months right?
i would not put that baby vicks on her and
there really is nothing you can give her
for a cold. all you can do is pump her
nose and humidify her room.

Actually there is something that you can
give her... It's called Tylenol plus cold.
I honestly don't think it works all that
well, but it's worth a try. Of course the
bottle says consult her doctor first. I
used it for Ethan at the suggestion of his
doctor. Also they have saline nose drops
that help get boogers out if she is all
stuffed up. They are a life saver. I think
they are called Little Noses, but I'm sure
they have other brands too.

You might want to check with your
pharmacist, their are some that are really
excellent but I do agree talking to tour
dr is a good thing! Good Luck! Keep us
posted! I hope she feels better soon!

.Vicks .Baby.Rub can be used on babies 3
months & older. I don't know if you
were thinking of the regular vicks or not.
