I have a lump under my skin in the back of my head just under the hairline. It's about 3 inches to the right of my left ear. One of the doctors thinks that is about 1/2 cm. It hurts occassionally. I'm told that a biopsy won't be done unless it is bigger than 1 cm. I don't want to wait until it grows. I noticed it about 2 1/2 months ago and it has not changed in size. I have seen the doctor 5 times for this and all I get is "it is probably nothing". What do you think?
