I recently started using the patch, and
then took it off, once I started
researching it. I was wondering if anyone
else used it, and whether you think it is
safe or not. I was thinking "great this
would be easy" but perhaps it is not worth
it. I would like your opinions on it.

The patch has similar risks as the pill;
it just gets more tv time about those
risks.

I was on the patch for over a year and
LOVED IT!! The risk is only slightly
greater than others. If it works for you
then stay with it. I only stopped because
my boyfriend had a vesectimy and there is
no way I 'm getting pregnant. I recently
started with bad migraines and actually am
considering going back on it. My OB wants
me to try seasonique but I have had such
great outcomes with the patch that I think
I'm just going to go back on that. I never
gained wieght, it controlled my cramps and
made my periods shorter. With every other
birth control I got very sick to the piont
where I almost threw up but never with the
patch. My breasts swelled up the first
three months but if I iced them it was
fine.
