I could say stuf yourself on junk food -
that will make you gain weight...
but you need the right sort of weight.
this is acheived by eating a healthy
balanced diet.
oh wait I have a food pyramid...
this site is
worth reading up on

First off I hate you.. haha sorry ive
gained 27 lbs
Secondly, Have you tried ensures?(or
however you spell them) Eat alot of Carbs
(i.e pastas, breads) .. Good luck girl!
Thats all I can think of for right
now..Your doctor should have some more
ideas about what you should do.

but don't forget the proteins.
proteins are what the human body uses to
build and repair, and as you're making a
whole new human you need proteins.
get plenty of meat substitutes (nuts,
soya, etc) if you are a veggie.

is that pyramid especially for a pregnant
woman's diet? because if not 6 - 11
servings of grain products seems like a
ridiculous amount.

some things I tried while gaining weight
with my (3) pregnancies...I had a very
difficult time gaining as well..I always
kept bunches of small snacks with me,
rather than attempting to eat full
meals..just wasn't gonna
happen.haha..anyway, I always had things
like 1/2 peanut butter sandwiches/peanut
butter spread on crackers made into little
sandwiches, grapes, cubes of cheese, nuts,
raw veggies like broccoli and cauliflauer,
zuchinni and some kind of veggie dip or
celery sticks with cream cheese/peanut
butter...anything somewhat nutritious that
could be taken with me (I worked outside
the home at the time)..I packed little
snacks in snack-sized ziplock bags, with
dips in little tupperware type containers
and stuck them all in a cooler-type lunch
bag..then frequently throughout the day,
I'd just take something out to munch
on...also, if you are having trouble with
gaining weight, it's probably best not to
wait until you are actually hungry to
eat..just at different points in the day,
eating healthy type snacks may help a
bit..

I had that problem but i didn't change my
diet....becuase i couldnt' eat too much or
i would get ill. My doctor talked to me
about it but eating much more than fruits
and veggies would make me sick...so that
is all i ate...just upped it a little
more.....sorta....
