I'm Not Really Bulimic Am I? Posted: 03-20-07 17:30pm
Well, I'm a "beginner" if you want to call
it that. I just started vomiting after
every meal yesterday in order to rid the
calories I consume. BUT, am I really
bulimic if I vomit just like... once after
a meal? How many calories am I losing with
just one vomit? I'm not bulimic am I? I
heard you have to binge and purge for
about 3 months in order to genuinely have
a disorder and get sick. I just eat my
regular way (my own diet of three small
meals, and strictly one snack whenever)
but then I try to get rid of it afterward.
So, am I in the beginning stages, or is
this just some fast way to burn off
calories? And I exercise just once a day-
no overloading. I don't binge or eat
uncontrollably. I'm really never hungry,
but I have to eat something. I just want
to quickly get down to about 118 lb. Any
comments?
Making yourself throw up isnt healthy, I
would advise you to stop while your ahead.
Your body isnt made to go in reverse, when
u throw up when your sick your body is
trying to get rid of bad things , so
forcing that daily isgonna hurt more then
help. there are many side affects to
making yourself vomit, also there are
healthier ways to lose weight. Forced
vomiting can cause stress on your
digestive track and heart. So please stop
now before you get sucked into a full
blown eating disorder.

Tinkinpink is right, dear..
Throwing up is not a sollution... :s Stop
while your can, because each day that
passes by will be harder to stop. Your
body isn't made to do this... :S You'll
get habits, you'll hurt yourself in more
ways that you even think and that you now
notice.
:S
Listen to those who have been through that
and that know about it.. really. Have some
meeting with a dietician, play sports,
walk.. That's so much better and
efficient..
Please, STOP!

Yeah, thanks for your encouragement. I
guess I was just stupidly playing with
fire. I haven't thrown up in two days
so... yeah. And it wasn't like I was
freaking out about it. Thank goodness...
