I was wondering if anyone had problems
with their progesterone being low and what
the sign were. I am thinking that this
might have been the culprit in my early
miscarriage. Even after being pregant, my
progesterone was only 0.9. In the first
trimester it should be between 11-90. My
beta dropped extremely quick as well so I
don't have to follow up with that. I am
keeping my appointment for april 2 to
check my progesterone again.

Again, I wanted to say that I am sorry for
your loss. I hope that you get another bfp
this month! I am unsure what effects
pregesterone or the symptoms of its levels
not being were they are suppose to be. I
remember you saying that you were having a
problem cysts. I know that having a cyst
effects your hormones. Did they say if
that could have had a affect on your
hormones being altered?

Hi Sweetheart Posted: 03-21-07 22:40pm
My last miscarriage was due to the same
thing. Mine went up to 5 and then it
dropped to 3 at my 5th week. My
infertility doc has given me Prometrium so
once I get pregnant, I am to insert 3
times a day. My sister in law had 3 mc's
and they gave her the prometrium, and she
has 2 kids now. She only used it up to
her 2nd trimester. Sorry for your
loss...I don't think you have to wait to
ttc again, right?

No, I don't have to wait. I thought that
it might not hurt to ask my doc to check
my progesteroe mid luteal phase or so. I
will let you know how it goes.
