We're picking up .alyvia's professional pictures tomorrow afternoon! And .i'm so excited - they turned out so well.

But.

We don't own a scanner, and .aaron's parents' scanner is acting funky. We're going to bring it over here and see if we can't get it to work (their computer is oldoldoldoldoldoldoldoldold Laughing) and if we can't, we'll have to ask around to see if one of our friends has one.

So, yeah. Neutral

Ooh, more good news.

I'm buying my new camera this weekend! Hell yeah! And the first thing .i'm doing (once the battery pack is charged - .aaron insists on a camera with a battery pack) is shooting a video of .alyvia with some frickin' sound!

Muahaha. Twisted Evil

Can't wait to see her pictures!! It sucks not having a scanner, we get .Kaylee's pictures back the 28th & I think the only way .I'm going to be able to post them is if I take a picture of the pictures & they just aren't going to look the same Confused That's awesome that you're getting a new camera! I swore that when I had my income tax money I was going to get one but it never happened.. I was having too much fun buying .Kaylee things Wink Can't wait to see some videos too Smile

Bridget: no, I really don't know yet. We're buying one within the $200 range, and it needs to be smallish (I have small hands) and it has to have one of those rechargable battery thingies. Aaron wanted one that was really bulky, and I couldn't hardly handle it - it was just way too much. So he's going to buy one at a later time and he's letting me pick the camera out.

Do you have a walgreens or wal-mart down there? I'm sure you've mentioned those stores before........but can you take your pictures there to get them scanned? The wal-mart here has a scanner you can use, and you can put them all on a CD. We did that when we got .adriana's pics done at wal-mart, we bought a disk, but it was a floppy disk, and we don't have a floppy disk drive, so we got it put on a CD at wal-mart.

Yes ma'am. Ours has a couple of machines right by the photo developing area. It's a do it yourself sort of thing, but here the people are really helpful if you have questions (which of course I did Laughing )
And I wanna say it was $2-$3 for the CD

My husband bought me a kodak easyshare camera a couple of years for christmas. It's fairly small, and it takes great pictures. I've had it for about 2 years now and only had to replace the battery pack once...it doesn't have a rechargeable. I think he only paid about $175 for it, and it's the best camera I've ever had. You might want to check out ebay. That's where mine came from. Alot of brand new, brand name cameras for so much less than in the stores!!

the camera I have now is actually an .easy.share c300. The videos I shoot don't have sound on them. That's my only real beef with it - other than it eats batteries like crazy. Neutral

when I get my new camera, .i'm giving my .easy.share to my mother-in-law. I love how easy it is to use, and it's perfect for her because she's not very good with technology. Laughing

I don't remember the model number of mine...dx something, but that's all I can remember. Mine has sound on it, I made a video one time of my husband snoring, because he didn't believe he was a snorer!! Laughing

Ugh, that figures. I really have no idea why there's no sound on my videos. It's so irritating.

I have a .kodak .Easy .Share .z650, and so far I really like it. I use rechargeable batteries, and they last quite awhile. Mine shoots with sound as well.
And glad I could be some sort of help .laura......now we are all entitled to see .aly's pics Mr.

Is it just the c300 that has no audio? Should I look it up and see if I just have it configured wrong? Confused

*Edit* it's not my bad. *sigh* they don't have sound at all.

Ooh that one's fancy. I'm staying away from .easy.shares now though. I saw one at .target that I really liked that I think .i'll go back for. It had 6.3 megapixels, 3x optical zoom, the battery pack thingy, plus it was small. And it was just under $200. I think that's going to be my camera! I forget the name, though. Ugh, my memory sucks.
