Most of my friends have told me they started feeling their babies hiccup around 18-19 weeks. Usually your belly jerks a little when they hiccup. I am 18.5 weeks along and have just started feeling my baby move around, so I haven't got to experience the hiccups yet; this is just what I have been told by friends.

i don't know for sure but i think it's later than that, more like 25 weeks. i don't remember when i started feeling them but it's very rhythmic and it just feels like a continuous jerking (my baby's came like 1 per second). it's also pretty strong, my husband was able to feel them if he pushed on a certain spot. my little guy got them like 4 times a day but some babies don't get them at all, so don't be worried if you don't ever feel it.

OMG Hiccupps!
I think that mine started around week 30 or so...and mostly noticed them after I ate! He had tem right up until 1 hour before he was born, they showed up on the monitor it was hilarious!
It feels like a rhythmic thump, thump, thump...and can go on for a while. My Little guy is 9 days old now and still gets them...but mostly after her eats.
Sometimes it fels like they are hiccupping forever in there but I think that the longest mine ever lasted was about 30 min.

ohhhh hiccups. hahaha. gabe started getting them when i was probably close to 30wks. & .he got them literally about 5-6 times a day! my whole belly would jerk/twitch. you could see them quite visibly. like everyone else says, you'll probably know when she gets them. it's a continuous rhythmic jerking or twitching. it kinda just feels like when you have hiccups, except they're down in your belly.

Im now 19 weeks with my 4th baby (I know 4 wow! this one was a BIG surprise) lol and felt hiccups for the first time yesterday. It really depends on if this is your first baby or not as with subsequent pregnancies you tend to feel things much sooner then with your first. Also each little bundle of joy is different both outside the womb and in so we are all different. As long as there is no severe pain or worry then I wouldnt be too concerned about if and when things start to happen. Enjoy ladies it doesnt last very long sadly..This will be my last and even though each pregnancy has been rather difficult Im trying my best to enjoy each day..ALL THE VERT BEST GIRLS..Dawn.xxx
