Question For the Ladies
Posted: 03-23-07 10:41am

Hello there
I stumbled apon this place and I signed myself up.
I have a question for the ladies. Have you ever had any pain during sex. I ask this question because my girlfriend she has had some pain during sex, She describes the pain as like a contraction in her stomach muscles. This occurs when we engage in certain sexual postions. Also this pain doesn't always occur when we are in these postions. I am just curious have any of you women felt pain in certain postions ? Also my girlfriend says she has a tipped cervix would this have anything to do with the pain she suffers from. Also she thinks that it might have to do with her cycle like certain times of her cycle she will have this pain and certain times she won't. I am concerned because she feels as thought she has to indure this pain to satisfy my sexual desire. I told her this isn't the case and that she should let me know if I am hurting her.( she usually doesn't say anything till after we are done) I just care about her and don't want to hurt her. She belives that my size has alot to do with this. I am wondering if you ladies have expiernced any of this before
All input would be greatly apperciated

Thank You

There are many reasons for pain during sex, and a tipped cervix is one of them. Usually the penis does not hit the cervix during sex, but if the cervix is tipped, that can make it easier for the penis to hit it. That also might explain why she feels more pain in certain positions, those positions might make it even easier for you to hit the cervix. Depending on how bad the pain is, she can either make sure she is one of the less painful positions or talk to her ob-gyn about whether surgery is an option.

Sex is painful for me everytime, and it can feel like it's just too big, but in reality it can't be too big because a vagina has to expand to get a whole human out of there. Maybe you should ask her when you start having sex if it's painful for her, and if she says yes maybe spend a bit more time on foreplay.

Sometimes a large penis can be uncomfortable but that can easily be sorted by positions where you aren't as deep if you get what I mean?

Also, is this a recent thing?

this isn't a recent thing, we have been together close to two years and in that time we have explored our desires in different ways between each other. I try to be very caring and attentive to her and her needs as she does for me as well. I am concerned because she will not say anything until we are finished. Most times I can tell because it feels different, like I am hitting something, it is really wierd because it will come out of nowhere. Most times I do hit her cervix and it doesn't bother her but at certain angles it causes her pain. maybe I am hitting a rib our something Shocked

Lol, you can't possibly be hitting a rib; there are intesitnes, a stomach, and her liver in the way, not to mention her uterus XD

It is your size that is doing it, and you're probably hitting her cervix indeed. It happens to me too sometimes. The thing is, light pressure can feel painful but good, but too much pressure can pass over into just pain.

Ask her to just express herself when yo have sex; and to tell you if you're too deep. Some pain during sex can be pleasurable for some women, but too much is always a turn off!
