Morning Sickness At Night? Posted: 02-16-04 18:57pm
Hey girls,
i'm now 14 weeks and 5 days preg and i'm
still experiencing morning
sickness...Really bad nausea and
heachaches, it's horrible...But for the
past couple days i've noticed that it's
the worst at night...Like once 5pm hits,
it starts...Before it started just in the
morning, then throughout the day, and now
its mainly at night...Does this seem weird
or has it happened to anyone else? It's
really annoying, I haven't been able to
get much sleep because of it, and wanted
to know if there's anything I can do to
help make it go away...I've tried
saltines, mints(they help
somewhat),everything....Has anyone tried
those seabands(i think thats what theyre
called)? And if so, do they work? I'm in
desperate need of some relief, I dont know
how much longer I can deal with this!
Help!

I have tried seabands, they work but they
have some downfalls, I dont know how big
ur wrists are but those little bands are
tee tiny!~ I would wear mine at night and
wake up with tingling hands b/c they were
so tight and they hurt a little, but
seemed to work...
Jordan and jaydyn....
They also make morning sickness suckers, I
dont know if the work but they sound
cool..I think they are called preggie pops

I had morning sickness at night. I was
just miserable...I couldnt find anything
to make me feel better. I ended up being
hospitalized several times because I
couldnt hold down water or my prenatal
vitamins even.

Thanks for all the advice girls!
Jordan, i've got pretty small wrists, so
maybe they'll work...Ahh I can only hope!
I think i'm gonna have my mom look for
them and those preggie pops next time she
goes to the store.
This sucks so bad, in the very beginning I
was soo hungry and had the biggest
appetite, but now it's gone...I have
absolutely no desire to eat whatsoever,
and when I do, I feel so sick...So i've
been eating pretty minimal the week or
so....The headaches, nausea, and dizziness
are making it way to hard to put much in
my mouth...Ive got the biggest phobia of
getting sick too, so i'll do anything to
make sure that doesnt happen!
The only thing right now that seems to be
working is chewing mint gum and laying
down and closing my eyes....Everything
else makes it worst. Sounds, visuals, ugh
I dont know...I want it to goo awayy!!
Lol
jennifer--last night tom ended up coming
over, we got into a huge fight, I cried
lol, cried some more, told him that I will
do this alone if I have to, and cried
again! Lol it was horrible, but by the
time he left everything was better, and I
feel a little more at ease...I dont know,
I guess im just a basketcase right now
with these emotions...I just want some
"me" time ya know? Who wants to be around
people when they feel like sh*t and look
like it too?! Not me!

Aww vanessa sweetie, everything will be
ok, your emotions are just jumbled right
now, its completely normal hun. As far as
morning sickness at night, that is
probably more common than in the morning!
Lol you will be just fine sweetheart!
Take it easy and do something for you.

Sure jen, i'm just so fed up right now...I
don't know how much more I can take...I
apologize for being so negative lately,
but it's becoming increasingly hard to
stay upbeat and positive when you're not
feeling good....Its just a constant bother
that is getting so incredibly annoying! I
just ran out to cvs with one of my friends
to grab some mints, but they taste sooo
nasty, ugh I almost gagged....She was
gonna take me to acme to see if they carry
those seabands but we got to the door and
one step inside I ran back out, the smells
made me wanna get sick...Ugh this is
horrible! Why is this happening so late
in the preg? I thought this only happened
like the first 5 weeks!
going to lay down and hopefully go to
sleep
