ok, i thought maybe we could play a little
game
what is the most rediculous wives tale
youve ever heard? and dont repeate any, i
love hearing wives tales cause they are
usually so dumb lol
this is one i heard the other day at
school of all places
if you put your fingers on your throut
(like your checking your pulse) and you
feel 2 heart beats then your pregnant, if
you feel 3 youve got twins
lets see what else there is...come on,

If you don't know the sex of your baby, if
someone asks you a question and you reply
with "he" or "she", that's the gender your
baby will be. Something to do with a
mother's instincts or something.
I called .alyvia a "he" for a full month
before we found out he was a she. So it's
not true.

girl. I remember my grandma saying it to
my sister, turned out she was having a
girl and it turned out to be true for me,
my grandma thinks it's fate, me a
coincidence

Heartburn means lots of hair. My son was
born with tons of hair, and yes I had
heartburn, but because of what I was
eating. Mexican food gave me heartburn,
.Duh

Ooo got another one now. If ou carry low
it means you're having a boy, i was in a
baby store yesterday getting a mattress
for >mika's moses basket and another
woman was doing the same so we started
chatting as you do and she was
practicually arguing with me that i was
having a boy!

My favorite one is that if you gain weight
in your hips and butt then it is a boy but
if you get bigger in your chest and face
it is a girl. Lol, I don't think that it
works that way though.

My mom used to say all out in front and up
high a boy and if u carry them around like
your preggo belly kinda goes to your sides
as well that its a girl. i carried both my
kids up front just jordynne lower then
joseph but i got pregnant less then a year
after i had joseph.
Some one said girls make you sicker too. i
dont beleive them.

sam, i must be pregnant constantly then,
ihave horrible allergies lol
oh i got a new one, if someone asks you to
show them your hands and you show them
palms up its a girl if palms down its a
boy

I asked my mum about some she'd heard and
the most ridiculas one she could remeber
is:
However many times you throw up due to
morning sickness is how many days late the
baby will be.
So according to that .Mika will be one day
late

I am really spotty with this pregnancy so
I was looking for some good stuff to use
to try prevent them when I found an old
wives tale that said ....if you get spots
during pregnancy then your having a girl
because girls steal there mothers
looks......hmmmm ok then....

These are some dumb ones I've heard. It
seems like everyone pops out of the
woodwork with these when you're preggers.
If you hold your arms above your head,
your baby's umbilical cord will get
wrapped around its head and choke it.
Hold your wedding ring on a string over
your hand. If it swings back and forth,
you're having a boy. If it swings in a
circle, then it's a girl.

I have heard this one too, except it was
to hold the ring over your belly, not your
hand.
If your baby's heartrate is 140+ it's a
girl, if it's lower than 140 it's a boy.

the most ridiculous thing i heard was ..if
a certain animal scares you while pregnant
you'll have a feature of that animal on
your baby....
