Recently Diagnosed With Lupus Erythematosus Posted: 02-17-04 07:33am
Hi,
my name is cori and I have been diagnosed
with lupus erythematosus on feb. 6th
2004.
Not knowing yet whether it is l.E.
Discoidis or systemic l.E. The waiting
for the test results is the worst part
right now. On one hand I am glad and
feel relieved that the long search for
what is "wrong" with me is finally over.
On the other hand having to be patient
and wait for the results of the ongoing
testing before knowing what will be the
next step is so nerve-racking! I try to
not fix my thoughts on what can happen all
but to take one step at a time. My mind
tells me not to worry before there is a
real reason for worrying. But my
emotions sometimes take me on a
rollercoaster ride. But I jump off the
rollercoaster before it gets to hard.
Ok, that shall be all for now.
I just had to take down my emotions and
share them with whoever is reading this.
Please excuse any mistakes in spelling or
using wrong expressions. Firstly this
disease is very new to me and secondly
english is not my native language.
