Just wondering if any one here takes this
particular one, my dr gave me it because
it is low progesterone so it shouldnt
cause headaches. I start it after my
period. Ive read up on it alot of people
say its given to older women in there 30's
or older and it makes you lose your sex
drive etc. Just wondering if any of yall
have taken it and had any bad effects or
gotten pregnant on it?

I'm only 26, but I took it for about 2
years without any problems. After a
couple of years, I started having a lot of
breakthrough bleeding and had to switch to
a different one. But it made my periods a
lot lighter and I had hardly any cramping.
thats good, i was on tri nessa before and
got pretty bad headaches. i only took it
for one month . I couldnt stand the
headaches. So i hope this one is lots
better.

I never experienced any headaches while I
took it. Just the breakthrough bleeding
after being on it for a couple of years.
But, you may have better luck. It seems
like every couple of years, I would have
breakthrough bleeding and have to have my
pills changed. I was glad when my husband
and I decided to start ttc...no more
pills!!!!!!

I've been on loestrin for almost 4 months
now and my sexual drive has actually
become so much greater. i swear it feels
like i'm dying for sex
sometimes...weird...
