Yeah. It really took us a good 3 weeks to
get into a routine with feeding. I kind
of wish .I would have pumped more because
then other people could have fed him but
it still worked out really well. You are
right, at least he is getting your milk.
If he starts to favor one side over the
other, try to get him to feed off the
other side first. Noah favored the left
side so .I would usually give him that
side first because it would calm him down
the fastest. Well now, almost 9 months
later, my left boob is always bigger then
the right side. It looks soooo strange in
the mirror. When he emptys it in the
morning it's less noticeable but first
thing....holy crap! Major difference!

yeah with the weight i lost 40 lbs in the
first month!! So it just falls right off
especially with you breastfeeding.

least a year. man. i can't believe you
can get 12 oz. i couldn't even get 1 oz
out... okay i'm sorry for going on about
this, but i'm so disappointed in myself.

he's beautiful krissy! really! and whoot
on the weight loss! your belly is looking
so flat already. in no time you will be
back where you were before gabe, and
probably at your goal weight because of
the breast feeding in no time too...

I suck at pumping too, .tanya. My boobs
get pump-shy - it's so hard to get them to
let down. But .alyvia's an old pro at it -
she gets them flowing after just a few
seconds. I don't know what that is. It's
really hard to tell people (like my dad
and stepmom) that .i'm breastfeeding but
can't pump, because they don't
understand.

i'm sorry .tanya! don't be disappointed in
yourself. it really isn't your fault,
& just the fact that you wanted to do
it so badly says something.
& .laura, it's the opposite with me! i
get *tons* when i pump, but .gabe doesn't
really get anything out!
ha. speaking of.
i just fed him 4oz & he's *still*
hungry!
9 days old already. what.
& .mel, me & .chris are doing
really well, i think. unforunately his job
wouldn't give him a vacation, so he's
working almost everyday, so i get to do
most of the parenting & stuff. we're
really mad that they wouldn't give him a
vacay. they said they would, but now they
won't let him take it. sigh.

i know. it's really retarded. they just
keep telling him no. ".maybe in a few
weeks." ... what. we just had a baby &
it would be nice if i could have some help
for a week since .i'm home alone all day!
& .i'm guessing .chris would like to
spend some time off at home with his
family.. but whatever..

lol i gained 80lbs.. i lost 25 right off
the bat but now im only loosing like 3 lbs
a week..

krissy im sorry they arent giving chris
crap! i feel ya on the whole being alone.
5 days after the baby was born the forced
DON to work and then shipped him out to
sea for 2 1/2 months.. He saw his son for
only 5 days.. They didnt care that i had a
c-section and all my family is back on the
east coast... the next Don see his son
hell be over 2 months old!!! i guess thats
the navy for you.. no namers.. They let
some dude fly home a week early last trip
because his wife was having her tonsils
removed.. ahh anyway people are messed
up.. i wish you and gabe the very best!

He is absolutely beautiful! Isn't it the
most amazing thing to be a mom? I have
my girl, but to be given the chance to do
it again is too good to be true.
Awesome job on the weight loss. I have
