Possible High-risk Pregnancy Posted: 03-26-07 15:56pm
I HAVE A FOUR MONTH OLD BABY(BORN AT
36WEEKS 4 DAYS) THAT WAS A HIGH RISK
(SHORT CERVIX) PREGNANCY, THEY TREATED ME
WITH WEEKLY HYDROXY PROGESTERONE 17P
INJECTIONS. I FOUND OUT THAT I AM 5 WEEKS
PREGNANT, ARE THERE ANY RISKS AND WILL
THIS PREGNANCY BE HIGH RISK ALSO?

Could be. You should consult your doctor.

you can be classified as " high risk " for
many reasons, I am high risk because of my
diabetes. however, a friend of mine who
delivered 4 weeks ago today was considered
to be high risk because of her weight and
she is RH neg. so I would just get to the
doctor a.s.a.p. and talk to him or her
about your conserns and find out from them
if you will be classified as high risk for
this pregnancy. I think that if you tell
the dr's office that you were high risk
during your first pregnancy they should
get you in sooner than 12 weeks along.
good luck and congrats on your little
mirical.
