My friend complains of this all the time. She said it started at about 25 weeks and hasn't gone away yet! Laughing She is due April 11th. She said that she will have the sudden urge that she is going to pee her pants and by the time she gets to the bathroom she can't go anymore. She has resorted to wearing a pad all the time. Just in case. Wink The many joys of pregnancy!

Oh, I hate that. To be honest, I lost it the with the first child and it never returned. Since lil' Nate arrived, I have had to be extra cautious of my sneezes!! People tell me to do Kegals, but I have no idea how those work. Since 16 weeks, I have had to wear a small pad all the time!! Good luck. I really hope it's only temporary for you. It really does suck.

Kegel exercises are easy to do and can be done anywhere without anyone knowing.

First, as you are sitting or lying down, try to contract the muscles you would use to stop urinating. You should feel your pelvic muscles squeezing your urethra and anus. If your stomach or buttocks muscles tighten, you are not exercising the right muscles.

Once you've found the right way to contract the pelvic muscles, squeeze for 3 seconds and then relax for 3 seconds.

Repeat this exercise 10 to 15 times per session. Try to do this at least 3 times a day. Kegel exercises are only effective when done regularly. The more you exercise, the more likely it is that the exercises will help.

These were the only proper directions I could find. Once you get the hang of them they are easy. Basically, the same muscles that you pushed with during delivery, are what you are contracting. My doctor told me that if I was having trouble to practice while going to the bathroom. Try urinating for three seconds then stopping and holding for three seconds.

They can come in handy in your love life too. Wink

I pee whenever I sneeze really hard. It sorta freaks me out but I am hoping it goes away. I do Kegel exercises so I don't know why my bladder is so weak! I have been doing them for over a year now. They help you have better sex Smile

When I was pregnant .Mike and .I were playing "scene it" and I got laughing so hard .I peed my pants, not just leaked a little, full blown peed. I was horrified.

I always had to wear a mini pad, because he was sitting on my bladder and I would lose control with a cough, laugh, sneeze, etc.

I remember that. Towards the end I went through a ton of pantyliners every day. In fact when my water broke at first I just thought that I was peeing on myself again. It kept coming in little spurts and I was soooo annoyed and disgusted with myself. I told my husband and he was like, "babe, I think your water broke..." Shocked . Hahahaha!! Laughing
