I'm Worried, Please Help!

I has sex last Friday (March 23rd) with my
boyfriend of 4 years. I was taking birth
control pills but i stopped about 2 weeks
ago, i was going to start them again but i
couldn't start taking them until Sunday.
my boyfriend didn't know this and thought
i was on them when we had sex so he
finished in me. My period ended the
Tuesday before (March20th). Is there any
chance that I could be pregnant? I've read
on many websites that sperm can live in a
womans body for up to a week. Is there any
possibility I could get pregnant? Any help
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks<3

There is certainly a chance you could get
pregnant because you had unprotected sex.
The only thing you can really do now is
wait to see if your period comes and then
test if not. In the meantime, use condoms
just in case.

why didn't you tell your boyfriend that
you weren't on birth control at the time?
you knowingly let him cum inside of you
even though you weren't on the pill
anymore, sounds like you want to be
pregnant to me.

no i dont want to be pregnant. i told him
that i got the birth control on thursday
and he assumed that i started taking it
again. yeah im guilty of not telling him
that i hadnt taken it but he knew that
when you start birth control after a long
period of time from being off of it that
you start on a sunday.

yes but it was your responsibility to tell
him no if you knew the birth
control wasn't effective. having sex
without birth control is just asking to
get pregnant. if you really didn't want to
get pregnant you wouldn't have let him do
it, it's not just his responsibility, it's
yours also.

yes i agree. im just nervous. would you
know if there was a great chance or a
slight? i know i messed up...real bad. i
dont know what to do.

well, you did have unprotected sex so
there is a chance that you could be. the
only thing you can do is wait and see if
you miss your period, and if you do take a
test, nobody here can tell you what the
chances are, but good luck!

you guys are never going to believe what
happened. its like i have bad luck. my
boyfriend and i had protected sex a week
after the time we had unprotected sex (14
days after my period) and the F**KING
condom broke!! im so nervous. and i dont
know if its too early to take a test..is
it?

very unlucky indeed. 
It's probably to early to take a test. I'd
wait until a day or two before your
expected period... but the best result are
usually after you actually miss a period.
Try not to stress too much as stress can
cause your period to come late...
And please be more careful.. another
accident like this and people may start to
wonder.

If you started your next pack of birth
control on Sunday (3-25-07) As you stated.
Then you have taken them for seven
consecutive days and are protected from an
unplanned pregnancy. Unless, you were
"unlucky" enough to forget to start taking
them. And yes it would be to soon to have
an accurate result from a home pregnancy
test. (or a blood test for that matter)

I was in no way rude to you. You asked if
it was to soon to take a pregancy test. I
told you that it was. I then reasurred you
that if you had started taking your
birthcontrol as directed that you would be
covered and that you have nothing to worry
about. You do seem to have a string of bad
luck, it has happened to the best of us.
Did you start your birth control last

I don't think that everyone is saying that
you did this on purpose. Accidents do
happen. They happen to the best of us.
Just be patient and wait for your period
and if it doesn't come then take a test.
If it is positive, then you will have to
take it step by step from there. It's not
the end of the world if you are pregnant.

i took a pill on sunday and then my mom
gave me a whole lecture sort of thing that
she didn't want me to go back on them
cause i was depressed while i was on them
and i gained a lot of weight and i was
miserable. she told me that if i were to
have sex that i use condoms and be safe
but she would rather me not on them. and
so i talked to my boyfriend about it and
he said that he didn't mind if i didn't so
i didnt take them but i didn use
protection. (i know you guys are probably
cursing me out right now cause im
stupid)(and im sorry about the above
comment, im just stressed a little bit).

Finding the correct birth control for you
is a very hit-and-miss thing. Many people
have to try dosens before they find one
that works for them. There are options
besides the pill (ie: patch, ring and shot
(I don't suggest)). You should speak to
your doctor about your concerns. I'm sure
that they will want to help you find a
form of birth control that your body
agrees with.
That being said. If the Friday was when
the incident occured with the condom then
it would be to late to take plan B. If it
was since friday it would still be an
option.
Aside from that all that you can do is sit
back and wait to get your period. There is
a very real possiblity that it will
be...off some this month, because you only
took one pill. You may begin bleeding
sooner/later than expected. Have you told
your mom about the condom breaking?

okay guys i still havent taken a test yet
but i have a few questions. i woke up
today and my one side where my ovary is
was piercing with pain. i feel like
vomitting every 5 minutes and i PEE every
5 minutes as well. should i be worried
about thursday when i take my test?
