Sweetheart, if you are in serious pain in
your lower stomach favoring either side
and vomiting, you need to go to the
hospital. Now. I don't want to worry you,
but it is much better to be safe than
sorry. If you are scared to tell your mom
you may be pregnant, All you need to tell
her is you think it may be your appendix.

well, sperm can stay in the system for 5
days ( it can happen ) and if you have a
normal 28day cycle you would ovulate @ the
27th. slight possiblity have you taken any
test latley

i took a test on tuesday and it came back
negative. but i was supposed to get my
period today and i haven't gotten it yet.
im going to take another test either
tomorrow or saturday cause i wanna give
time to see if i get my period. i dont
have any cramps though which is wierd. at
the begining of the week i thought i was
going to die. my appetite has changed. im
tired at the wierdest times of the day
cause i havent been sleeping. i usually go
to bed at lik 9:30 and i havent been
fallen asleep until 2:00. i dont
understand. i still feel nasaus at
different times of the day but havent
thrown up yet. idk if its cause im
pregnant...or im sick. when do you guys
think i should take the test??

i have a question out of curiousity. i
heard from many people that it takes a
while to get pregnant after being on birth
control for a certain amount of time. i
was off birth control pills for 3 weeks
when me and my boyfriend did it...can the
birth control pills have an effect on it
or no? i heard that it doesnt matter cause
you can get pregnant even being on
birthcontrol. so i was just wondering.

Well, my mil got a bfp 3 and 1/2 weeks
after going off birth control with my dh.
I personally have been off about 2 months
and believe that I have only just ovulated
within the last 12-36 hrs.
So it really depends on the person.
Unfortunately, its one of those things you
dont know until you try.
However, stopping birth control can mess
with you cycle. Which could easily be why
you are late.

im going to take another test tomorrow.
its probably just the birthcontrol messing
me up. but i just dont feel like the usual
me. thats why im a little worried. im not
stressing it. but idk. the pains in my
pelvic area are new. they arent
excruciating but i know they're there. and
a couple times a day i feel nauseas. my
lips are chapped unbelievably, im breaking
out. i feel like i get my period every 5
minutes but its just a lot of
discharge..idk. i hope that tomorrow i can
find out something.

Darling I'm going through the same thing
you are. Only I'm 20 and the sex was with
my EX boyfriend one drunken night. I was
on birth control when it happened but I've
been having weird crazy things happening
and I haven't been stressing about it
because caca happens and if I am oh well
go from there. But my best friend asked me
the other day when I wanted to eat popcorn
with relish on it (disgusting I know but
it sounded good at the time and both of
which foods I HATE) if I was pregnant she
had noticed that I had been eating weird
felt sick and everything so atleast you
thought about it I had to have someone
point it out to me. I am not supposed to
get my period til this Wednesday so we
will see what happens good luck with it
and if you need someone to talk to I'm
going through the same feelings too with
just a little less worry so feel free to

wow. so my birthcontrol has been way
messed up. and my doctor hasnt been much
help. I was on seasonal for a year and
then he switched me to yazmin and i got my
period at un expected times.  it got me so
frustrated. I got off of everything hoping
everything would balance out. and along
the way (about 2 months)I had unprotected
sex (we both knew what we were doing) The
only problem is i have no clue when i am
spose to get my period and have notices my
boobs are heavy, nipples are sore, upset
stomach when i lay down to fast on my
back. I fall asleep in school, as soon as
i get home, and i sleep for 8 hours
previous to. im very bloated & gasy.
not a usual thing.. I thought perhaps it
was cause i was going to get my
peirod..yet still waiting.. I really have
not one clue what to do. please help...

okay guys, i checked on this really
trustworthy website my friend gave me and
i didn't miscalculate. i am 6 days late as
of right now. i think that im going to go
to planned parent hood this weekend and
get a blood test if it doesnt come. just
though i'd let you guys know.

Planned parenthood probably wont give you
a blood test. At least the one's in my
area doesn't. ( I could be wrong so please
correct me if I am).
However, they will do a urine test. I
still think that it is a good idea that
you go. That will take out all user error
and you will know for sure. They will also
be able to talk to you about other birth
control options and help you pick one that
may work better for you.

i checked out the website of the pph by me
and they do give blood tests...also my
friend just got one recently to see if she
was pregnant at the same place. but i
think i may wait till next week just to
make sure. today is the 7th day and still
no period though. it seems scary after a
while. like not getting it when you always
do. idk. im a 17 year old baby i know, i
know haha. well ill keep you posted
throughout the week.

I don't think you are pregnant. I think
your period has just been late this month.
Is there a reason you aren't using birth
control pills? Your period will be regular
and it is a very good way to prevent
pregnancy.

well i definately have my period. and the
reason i stopped was because i gained
weight and it made me really depressed. my
mom said that she didn't like how i was
when i was on it and i know there are
other types of pills besides the ortho tri
cyclen lo but i dont really like to take
them even though i know i should because
it protects me a lot better.

Well, I'm glad you started. Now you don't
have to worry about it.
There is also the ring and the patch. I
think you need to call your ob/gyn and
talk to them about your complaints. I am
sure that you work with them they will be
able to find something that will work for
you. In the meantime, you should
definitely be using condoms.
