Second Erection Sore
Posted: 03-27-07 16:26pm

When I ejaculate, everything is perfectly normal. However, about half an hour later, this intense soreness/pressure builds up in my genitals, causing great discomfort. It's usually centred around the base of the shaft and the testicles. There is no pain in the glans.

I know this isn't due to rubbing too hard, because the same thing happens with wet dreams and I wake up in the middle of the night. It especially is sore when I have an erection afterwards. Either way, soft or hard, my penis is sore after ejaculating. It goes away after roughly an hour of it showing up.

Is this some sort of muscular problem? Or is it an infection?

Please, does anyone have this similar type of problem and can help? Or shed some light.

I get the same thing sometimes. I never got it when I first started masturbating. It's probably just some build up of semen that never got out but I am not positive--I am no doctor. This soreness personally is the least of my sexual problems but I have noticed it and it is slightly painful. After masturbating and feeling the pain I have tried masturbating again and I tried going to the bathroom and the pain went away each time. Usually the pain lasts about 10-30minutes for me. I am sure it is nothing serious. There are more serious side effects from masturbating that I would be more worried about (PM me if you want a list of rumored side effects and the ones I have personally experienced) but if you get obbsessed about it then ask your doctor or keep trying on this forum.

Thanks, I appreciate the response, it seems its something I'm stuck with and not much I can do.

It just bugs me that I have this problem when I am otherwise extremely healthy, fit, and happy. I just don't want to have any of these problems when I do become intimate with someone.

Do you think it might be muscularly related? Do you have tight pelvic floor muscles? Some men have problems in that area as a result of tight muscles. I believe there is a book called "Headaches in the Pelvis."

If you google it maybe you can find out what it's trying to treat and see if there's a list of symptoms. If that's not the correct book title, let me know and I'll try to find it.
