Is My New Supplement List Alright? Posted: 03-28-07 09:43am
Okay, so when I finish the supplements I'm
currently taking I'm going to move on to
taking some of the same supplements and a
few new ones. I was just wondering if this
list of supplements and the ingredients
they contain sound good enough as a
supplement regimen for the treatment of
IBS.
1. Fish Oil Capsules (2x a day)
2. Liver health (Milk Thistle 8g,
Schizandra 100mg, Dandelion, 500mg, Globe
Artichoke 1g, Taurine 200mg). (2x a day)
3. Peppermint capsules (0.2ml peppermint
oil per capsule) (3x a day).
4. Inner Health Plus (12.5 billion
Lactobacillus Acidophilus (NCFM)
Organisms, 12.5 billion Bifidobacterium
Lactis Organisms) (2x a day)
5. IBS Support (15 billion Lactobacillus
plantarum organisms) (2x a day)
6. Gut repair (Slippery Elm 500mg,
Glutamine 1g, Chloride Complex 500mg,
Inulin (FOS) 1g, Pectin - Citrus 1g,
Psyllium Husk Powder 2g). (2x a day).
Thankyou in advance to anyone who can help
out. I'm just trying to make sure that all
these supplements will assist in the
treatment in IBS (as opposed to doing
nothing for my condition or even worse
making my condition worse) and that none
of these ingredients will interfere with
each other as I will have to be taking a
lot of them at the same time.
