What kind of information? I had a friend
who tore his rotator cuff playing
football. Her had to have surgery to
correct it. It procedure wasn't bad. He
was able to play agian in 6 months. (
Profesional teams have great benefits
though)

Thank you for even replying! I have been
told the area in which I am in pain is my
rotator cuff. The left shoulder area and
only when I move my arm in a certain way,
as in hooking and unhooking bra, or trying
to pull shirt over my head. This has been
an on and off again situation for a couple
of years. Usually it gets better, but this
time, it seems is taking forever to get
back to normal. I should probably have
this looked at, but can not have MRI as I
have anuerysm clip in my head.....can't
take a chance of the magnet snatching that
clip off! Have heard about ultrasound wave
therapy but uncertain about this???Anyone?

Yes, my friend went to clothesline someone
and overextended this arm backwards. That
is how he torn his rotator cuff. His was
damaged very badly, that is why he was
forced to have surgery to correct it.
Before they realized the extent of the
problem they were going to have him do
physical therapy for 6-8 weeks. They told
him that is normally all it takes. You may
want to look into doing some at home
excercises to see if that helps you
dicomfort level improve. If it makes the
pain any worse I would advise you to stop
immediately. I am not familiar with ultra
sound wave therapy. I will look into it
this evening when I get home from work
(where I don't have all these lovely site
blockers )
And let you know what I found about them.
Does the pain seem to be effected by any
changes? weather or activities?

Thanks For Your Time! Posted: 03-29-07 15:35pm
You are just way too sweet! I do
appreciate your info on this matter. Today
my shoulder seems a lot better. This has
been going on for a couple of years, it
would hurt for about a week, then
gradually get better. I can't tell any
difference in change in weather, I did
think about arthritis. I just OVER DO it!
NON STOP........I'll slow down when I'm
dead! We have a home gym here, and we lift
weights, shall I say, we havent in some
time, but are going to get back into it.
Please, by all means, PM me if you need to
and let me know anything (excercises or
the physical therapy you are talking
about). I thank you again for getting back
to me! HAve a great evening!
