you don't *have* to water juice down, most people do it because juice is nothing but sugar and empty calories.

i don't know. i don't think babies need juice, just a splash to jazz up some water is fine though.

i'd say white grape juice is good to start babies out on. it's not as harsh or tart tasting as other juices. white cranberry juice is good, too.

but like .b said, i don't think babies really need juice.

i always watered it down (more water than juice)cause of the acid in it. it would cause diarrhea and a diaper rash. juicy juice is the worst juice

She's right. I've seen babies get horrible burns on their pee pee because of juice.

The acidity in it is ridicilious.

If you do give it, it should be diluted no less than 50%.

When I make .Jenny's apple juice, I put 3oz of water in the bottle and only 2oz of juice. It says on the bottle you can give it to them undiluted, but I don't like the idea of that.

i personally do not believe in giving infants and babies juice . why don;t you give him water. juice is really not necessary .

Oni won't drink anything but water. And her formula of course. But she hates juices!!

I used to give her diluted .propel (natural flavored water)...but she stopped liking it. And wanted only water.

Yeah, when they said .adriana was old enough to have juice, they made it clear it shouldn't be more than 4oz a day. But .adriana didn't like juice, so I didn't have to worry about it. She's always drank plain ol' water. She just now started liking juice (certain kinds) but I won't be giving it to her more than a couple times of week, since she eats fruit like it's going out of style.

Nathan hated juice for the longest time but I didn't complain because water was better for him anyway. Now at three years old, he loves juice. It took him three years. We still try to watch his intake because of the sugar content.

I don't think most babies like juice anyway. Chu *just* started to like juice and I have to dilute it with water for him to drink it anyway. I would add a little prune or apple juice to his formula if he was constipated though. But apple, white grape, white grape peach and pear seem to be okay. Oh and I hate juicy juice!!!! I won't buy it!!!
