It all started when my son got pink eye.He
got medication, and it got better.I ended
up getting it.Took Clindamycin(sp?). I am
allergic to Erythromycin.I ended up having
a massive reaction, whole face was swollen,
and my vision was minimal.I went back to
the doctor, and was then prescribed
Tobramycin, and my face swelled more, and I
couldn't see anything at all.
It took all of this for the doctors to
realize that I am allergic to anything
ending in mycin!!!
I was then referred to an eye doctor who
gave me an oral antibiotic, and told me to
apply a cold compress.Swelling is gone,but
I am left with extreme photosensitivity in
my eyes.Looking at the computer screen
yesterday was like looking directly into
the sun.My vision is still very blurry and
I can't
go outside yet, because It is too bright

(even with
sunglasses on.
Anyone else experience this????Does
photosensitivity in your eyes last
forever??
I can't wait to be able to go outside.
