Waiting to Know Can Be So Stressful Posted: 03-29-07 21:44pm
I'm new to this forum and one of the main
reasons why I decided to become a member
is because of the terrible uncertainty I'm
feeling.
The gist of my story is this.
My husband and I have been trying for a
child for about 1 year and 9 months now
with no success. We started seeing a
gynae for almost a year now and all the
checks indicate no medical problems.
I know when I'm getting my period (because
there's always the tell-tale signs ) and
each month over the past 1 yr 9 months has
been a torture.
This month however, I did not experience
the tell-tale signs. My last period was on
2nd march and about the time I believe was
my ovulation time, my husband and I were
on a nice little holiday to rekindle our
romance from 10 years ago at the exact
same place.
My period is due on 2nd April but normally
1 week before that comes I would already
experience some faint green discharge.
This month it didn't happen. In fact what
happened was I experience an egg-white
discharge on the 28th (came out like a
blob). It looked like what comes out when
you're ovulating and I have'nt felt dry
over the last 2 days. I keep going to the
toilet to check if my period has come.
I've been having a terrible flu and cough
over the past 3 days and worry if this
could have caused the discharge.
I believe it's too early to use a
pregnancy test but this uncertainty is so
stressful.
What should I do and is this discharge
normal.

Good luck. The uncertainty is very
difficult. You do seem very in tune with
your dates. People on here can give you
some support but will probably tell you to
see your doctor. It's hard to really know
what is going on...could it be pregnancy??
Don't know.
You usually have greenish discharge? That
doesn't sound normal? The other discharge
does sound quite normal. So, your doctor
said you don't have an infection or
anything? Did you mention the green
discharge? Just curious about that.
Take care and good luck! Great to have you
on here:)

if your periods are normally regular and
you're sure you are due april 2nd
(remember each month is not the same
number of days, so you can't say it's due
2nd of every month) then from today a
*first response early pregnancy test*
should be accurate.
pink dye tests are far more accurate than
blue dyes tests for the majority of the
population.
