The reason I am against prayer vigils
outside of clinics is the same reason I
think it was lousy for anti-gay people to
protest at Matthew Shepard's funeral. The
purpose is to make people feel bad when
they are already in an emotional state!
If I need your prayers, I will ask for
them. In the meantime, stop Jesus
freaking on people. It's tacky.

if they feel bad for seeing a prayer vigil
then they are not ready to have an
abortion.

That statement is so true on so many
different levels!

Silly.
Most people, even the doctors saying that
early fetuses don't feel pain, even they
agree that by 28 weeks the fetus feels
pain. Your point is moot.

my point is moot???? obviously some 'hip'
term that i have no idea on what it
means??? anyway whatever you wanna think!
youre one of those ppl that acts like you
think everyone has the right to their own
opinion as long as it's the same as yours!
and as for the person who said the
following...
Posted: 04-11-07 1:24pm
'I think that jesus was a schyzophrenic
really if somebody was to claim to be the
son of god now he would be carted of in a
paddy wagon. '
you're probably right. if someone claimed
to be the son of god then they probably
would be put away! but i'm sure if they
were also healing ppl, bring ppl back to
life and walking on water...then some ppl
might wonder if they're tellin the truth.
and some ppl didnt believe jesus (which is
why he was crucified by the way)
godbless!!

sorry eiri are you saying now that 28
babies do feel pain ???? cos earlier you
said
"their report, being published today in
the journal of the american medical
association, is based on a review of
several hundred scientific papers, and it
says that nerve connections in the brain
are unlikely to have developed enough for
the fetus to feel pain before 29 weeks."
sorry if i'm not getting it but not sure
what youre gettin at!

No.
28 "babies" do possibly feel pain at
that point. The time period between
around 27-30 weeks is the debated time
period when the fetus begins to feel pain.
I quoted an article; I did not say that I
absolutely believe every word in it. In
fact the article had many parts I
disagreed with. However, I do believe that
the pain begins to be felt between 27 and
30 weeks.

Most of us don't entertain that. Most
people believe that the fetus at 28 weeks
does feel pain. SO your posts, all of
them, that pertain to this, are moot.

well thats good to know.
just unfortunate that you bother to post
things on here that you don't actually
agree with ...but use them as your
arguement for abortion!
well i don't take any pleasure in this
type of debate. i feel as if we are going
around in circles and no matter what
'valid' points might be brought up we both
feel strongly that we are correct.
so i sign off with one final message for
you eiri.
i hope that one day that you come to the
realisation of what abortion actually is.
godbless you. (i'm not being sarcastic on
that statement in any way)

I hope you meet a young girl there who
will change your life. She was raped by
her brother. I hope you meet the woman who
is aborting a fetus so deformed that it
would die hours after birth; I hope you

narrow-minded ways burns your soul deeper
than hell ever could. I hope your life is

I don't pray, but if I did I would pray
that your eyes are opened to every woman

I want you to pray, instead, for the
abused child, whose mother is ignorant and
16, and whose father beats her for not
having enough drug money. I want you to
pray for the child in the foster system
whose mother died during child birth. I
want you to pray for the child who was not
aborted, but who now suffers more pain
than they ever could have imagined. I want
you to pray for the child who doesn't have
a bright future because his family is too
poor to feed him, a child who will never

have been prevented with one simple
procedure.
I want you to pray for all the pregnant
teens who, because of people like .bush,
don't know about condoms, think that
condoms don't work, and think that birth
control kills babies. These teens are
pregnant and considering abortion because
of people like you and him. You caused
their abortions. He is killing the babies
you want to save, by promoting
abstinance-only education.
I want you to go educate about birth
control in a school instead. I want you to
reach out to young and ignorant teens, and
tell them that the urges they have are not
evil. Teach them about their bodies, and
even teach that sex is for people who
truly love each other. Advise against
casual and unprotected sex. Show them how
many ways they can protect
themselves. |
I completely agree with you...thank you
for taking the time to write this. I felt
it was a very well written and moving
post. No one ever has the right to force
their views, religious or otherwise on
someone else, in particular when not
knowing that persons reasons.
