hello i had a colonoscopy 13 months
ago and was told that i had ibs but
now iam getting real bad pain every day
day all day long does anyone else get
this plz

hello colakissed thank u for replying
they were realy bad pains since then i
went to the doctor and she told me i had
deverticulitis so i have to take
antibiotics and what what i eat allso i
thought it could not be ibs as they
would normaly clear u up by now i had
the pain all day for two weeks only
stopped hurting when i went to bed and
started again on opening my bowels
started antibiotics today hope they
help as i am in lot of pain now

yes i was diagnosed with the same thing.
they have me on prevacid and there are
some herbal and over the counter ibs
vitamins that might work. look in your
local pharmacy or drug store. by the way
have you had any surgeries on your
stomach. sometimes we can develop lesions.
or scar tissue that will give the same
symptoms.. now i carry beano, lactose
pills and charcoal gas pills with me. i
hope you find some relief. i know your
pain. i have been in emergency 4 times in
the last two months for extreme pain in my
stomach. i will keep you in my prayers.
