Seafood During Pregnancy??

while your pregnant is it safe to eat seafood? Such as shrimp, lobster, clams, oysters, fish, scallops etc....? ITs one of my favorite foods and I know some of it can be harmful, but others are ok to eat. Which types of seafood is safe??


Oh....and totally off the topic. I know I can take tylenol while prego. is tylenol pm ok to take???

.. & i think all .tylenol is okay to take during pregnancy. tylenol pm included, i believe. but i would ask your doctor just to make sure.

you can eat any seafood and fish while pregnant. as long as its cooked well and fresh. certain fish has to be eaten less often due to the mercury levels..but they are still edible ...

Eating seafood during pregnancy is ok unless you have a seafood allergy. I'm allergic to shellfish, mainly shrimp, and I had to stay away from it while I was pregnant. You should watch out for fish that are high in mercury b/c lots of mercury isnt good for the baby.
