Strange skin sensations: blood pressure or anxiety? Posted: 04-02-07 10:07am
I'm inquiring about strange sensations.
I had this 2 years ago after a very
stressful time. Once again after a
stressful period I feel random sensations
like water droplets on different parts of
my skin for a split second at a time.
Like someone messed me with water. Could
be on my leg, arm etc. Its very subtle but
weird.
I do have a lot of back and neck tension.
Could it be related?
I also have chronic anxiety. Could that
cause this?
I have no fatigue, numbness or other
symptoms.
The strange sensations you are
experiencing on different parts of the
skin (“…like someone messed me with
water…”) that have no organic
explanation might be due to anxiety
disorder. Before diagnosing anxiety as the
direct and only cause of these symptoms,
however, you might check your blood
pressure and discuss it with your primary
health provider.
