Inert Pills - Bleeding
Posted: 04-02-07 11:28am

Hi, can someone please clarify a few things for me? Smile Thanks in advance.

How many days do you usually wait until you bleed when you are on your "menstrual week" of the pills?

When you take your pills, what is the range of time that you can take it? lets say i take it at 12 midnight. can i take the pill half an hour early? or half an hour late? - Curious cause sometimes I want to go to bed earlier. Thanks

I think that it varies from person to person. I usually began bleeding on my third day of placebo pills.

You will be fine if you take your pill an hour late/early. However, you may want to consider a different time of day if your current time is not convenient.

.i usually started bleeding around my 4th to 5th day of inactive pills. .it vaires from person to person and from pill to pill. .if you miss your period all together then you can start to worry, but untill then don't stress because it will only make it worse and can delay your period even longer.

you can take your pills within 6 hours of each other (late or early) each time of day without them being considered late.

I don't normally start my period until day 4.

For the first few months that I was on them I would continue to bleed until 2-3 days into my pack. I was on low dose, after time I would stop bleeding before I started my new pack. But as we have previously posted. It will vary from person to person and pill to pill.

Oh sure, indeed. I am still occasionally bleeding on the first or second day of the new active pills. I am right now, lol.
