.ortho .tricyclen .lo is birth control
pill. .it can not be used to prevent
pregnancy after you are pregnant, it can
only be used to .a.v.o.i.d an unplanned
pregnancy.
.if your period is now late by 6 days it
could mean you are pregnant and the pill
will do nothing to help with that. .you
need to take a pregnancy test to determine
if you are pregnant and take action from
their.

What do you mean by "the pill"? When women
refer to "the pill" they mean a birth
control pill just like ortho-lo.
Like the previous poster said, ortho-lo
only prevents pregnancy if you start it
before unprotected sex. If
you have already had unprotected sex, and
it has been 3 weeks, then even the morning
after pill will not help you.
Because of this, you may already be
pregnant. As of now, it is too late for
you to prevent this. The unprotected sex
would have made you pregnant about 3-5
days after your unprotected sex. You need
to go get a pregnancy test to see if you
are pregnant. You can buy some at the
store. Its still a little early, so test
now, and then about a week from now. If
the test comes out positive, then you need
to go get a blood test to confirm and get
an ultrasound to see exactly how far along
you are.
Then, if you are pregnant, you have three
choices: abortion, keep the baby, or
adoption.
If you are not pregnant, then you may
begin taking the birth control pills.
Please talk to an ob-gyn first however,
just to make sure you're not pregnant.
Have them explain to you how your body
works and how birth control works.
