well my brothers neighbour (we call him snoopy) is in his 80's and his car hasnt moved in the last couple days and his lights havnt come on (nobody ever goes to viset him btw) the manager went to my brothers house to see whats going on with snoopy so im assuming he never paid his rent...

i told tom he should do something cause snoopy could be in trouble or he could be dead in his house and yeah.. but my bro dosnt want to do anything and i dont know... what there is to do, cant really call 911 for that... im so confused

Just call the local police and tell them that you haven't seen him in a couple days and his car hasn't moved and they should come check. That's what I would do.

you can call 911 and tell them his car hasn't moved and the lights haven't been on and they might send someone over to check things out.

Just say that you are worried that something has happened to the neighbor. Tell them he is old and you haven't seen any lights on or his car move for a few days. Just ask if they could send someone out to check.

If you call the police and tell them that you fear for someones saftey, they do something called a "wellness check" were they have to pysically lay eyes on him to verify that he is safe. You can call the non emergency number. All you need to do is tell them that you have an elderly neighbor that noone has seen in a few days and the seem to have been no movement and you are concerned for his well being. They will take it from there.

I think you normally have to give some reason as to why you would fear for thier saftey. Like a teenager that has run away or the elderly. My mom did this with my aunt though. She was like 25ish at the time. She told the police that she normally calls every/everyother day and they hadn't heard form her in a week. They knew what her last known address was (it was in CA and we were in FL) and that her boyfriend had been abusive in the past and they were concerned. My mom just requested that they check on her. The next step would have been to file a missing person report. But I am not sure she could have done that Confused

Baron's dad went to visit an old friend last week. When he walked up to the door he could smell this horrid odor. He figured it was the garbage.

He came over, and I told him to call the cops. He was probably deceast in the house. He said "don't say that!!!"

HE called, and sure enough...

I'm sorry .sarah!
